Hey guys!
Press Sample
Long time no talk, eh? I am still on a little break from blogging but am going to get back to it slowly but surely. What better way to ease back into posting than with a beautiful summer creme collection from Penny Bloom? Formerly Nayll, Penny Bloom Polish offers custom polishes that you create right on the website and also their own line of beautiful creations, which is what we will be looking at today!
The Summer Daze collection releases on June 21st, the first day of summer, and is a 10 piece creme collection inspired by the long hot days of summer (my favorite)! The polishes retail for $10 each or you can purchase the entire collection for $90!
All swatches are shown with topcoat.
Dog Days is a light tan creme. This was 3 coats. As you can see, there was some pigment that didn't get mixed up all the way in the bottle but it didn't affect the polish when applying it to the nail.
Self-Tanner is a mid tone brown. This was almost a jelly type of creme and needed 3 coats.
Morning Light is a beautiful bright yellow, again 3 coats.
Solar Ray is a bright orange creme. This was the tiniest bit thick but not unmanageable at all. 3 coats.
Summer Night is a lovely pink, 2 coats.
Bikini Days is a light blue creme. This was 2 easy coats.
Ocean Deep is a medium blue creme, covering nicely in two coats.
Blue Lagoon, a gorgeous dusty teal and opaque in 2 coats.
Greenscape is a nice kiwi green and covered in 2 coats.
Finally, Smoothie is a deep green and covered in 2 coats.
Sara was also kind enough to give you a discount code for 20% off your entire order! Just use code FSHNFTG20 and voila! There's your discount!
Remember, this collection will be available in one week, on June 21st! Which shades are you going to be getting?? Don't forget that you can also create your own custom polishes on the Penny Bloom site. I've done it before the rebrand and just a few weeks ago and I LOVE how the polishes came out! Swatches of those will be coming soon!

Blush Lacquers Blush Beauties Facebook Group Customs!
Hey guys!
Nothing To Disclose Press Sample
Today I have a new to me indie that I have been lusting after for a long time! Blush Lacquer is a fairly new brand, about one year on the scene, and I've seriously wanted just about everything I've seen her release! I was so happy to see Victoria and her Blush Lacquers would be at Polish Con but even more excited when she posted an opportunity to win the Blush Beauties Facebook Group Custom polishes for swatching if you were attending Polish Con and I was one of three people who won the duo!
The first polish is called Oopsie Daisies and it a slightly green tinged yellow packed with green and gold/yellow flakies and also a pinky nude shimmer. This had a great formula and was opaque in 2 coats. I thought my nail was visible after two coats but it turns out that lovely pinky nude shimmer was playing tricks on me. I did do 3 coats here but the color and opacity didn't change, so you be good to go with 2!
Siren Swells is an oxidized green (I just saw the Statue of Liberty, this must be in my head! LOL) with golden shimmer and copper flakes. YOU GUYS. I am in love with this color. I don't have anything like either of these colors (which is saying something!) and I love them both but oh my gosh this one is just <3
I used 2 coats for this polish as well and the formula was outstanding.
These will be available for order on May 5, 2017. Since these are group customs, you do need to be a member of the group to purchase the group.

Round 32 of Bestie Twin Nails with The Little Canvas! Zoya Stripes!
Hey guys!
Nothing To Disclose Affiliate Link
And here we are for another Bestie Twin Nails with The Little Canvas. For this month, we wanted to do something to incorporate some yellow because blech to this time of the year for the weather, amiright?
I figured that I might as well finish off Zoya week using some of my favorite Zoya polishes for this nail art. I used Willa, Pippa, and Kelly, and a dotting tool.
I used 2 coats of Pippa on my index finger, two coats of Willa on the pinky, and then 2 coats of Kelly and Pippa on the middle and ring fingers. Then, using the dotting tool, I dotted Willa over those colors for the stripe patterns.
I even did a traditional The Little Canvas pose, haha.
What do you think? I love yellow, whether it's in polish or anything else. It's just so happy and cheery, don't you think??
Be sure to check out Alaina's nails!

Twinsie Tuesday: Forgotten Favorite
Hey guys!
Nothing To Disclose
Well, I don't know about you, but I'm ready for spring and summer colors! I needed some bright colors on my nails and I pulled out my China Glaze Celtic Sun and then remembered "oh yeah, this polish is amazing.
I did layer two coats of Celtic Sun over a white base, and added topcoat. So so so bright and cheery, right??
What is a favorite polish that you often forget you love??

Different Dimension Swatches!
Hey guys!
Nothing To Disclose
More swatches from my Polish Purchasing a few weeks back. I purchased 3 from Different Dimension, an indie that I love but somehow don't feature that often.
Hourglass Nebula is a brown jelly with orange to red and green flakies. This was 2 coats!
Butterfly Nebula is a purple jelly with red to green flakies and holo microglitter. This needed 3 coats to cover completely.
Peregrination is "goldenrod yellow" holographic. You probably know how I feel about yellow polish by now: I love it! This had a great formula and covered in two coats.
What is your favorite Different Dimension polish??

Bestie Twin Nails with the Little Canvas! Round 30!
Hey guys!
Nothing To Disclose
It's time for Round 30 of Bestie Twin Nails with Alaina from The Little Canvas! I'm not sure how we've done these for 30 months already! Holy moly!!
Anyway, this time we are doing a flower dotticure. I used all China Glaze polishes for this mani, starting with Kalahari Kiss for the index and ring fingers. Velvet Bow is the pinky finger. I used Blonde Bombshell for the middle finger. For the dots, Velvet Bow, Sun's Up Top Down and Life Preserver were used, along with Blonde Bombshell for the gold dots. One top of topcoat, clearly applied too soon after painting, hence the smearing.
Be sure to check out Alaina's manicure. I'm sure she used something awesome. Or something exactly the same. Probably with more words. Hehee.

Twinsie Tuesday: Inspired by the Weather
Hey guys!
Nothing To Disclose
We've been having some seriously gorgeous weather lately and I saw the most beautiful sunset last week and was inspired to do a gradient for this prompt. And it just so happened that I had three Pretty Serious polishes sitting in my acrylic rack that were perfect for this sunset!
I started with a white base and then sponged Pookie (blue), Honey Puff (yellow), and Peachie Poo (peach) onto my nails until I reached the desired opacity and then topped it off with topcoat. I thought about trying to draw some trees but you know how awful I am drawing trees so I decided to leave it as is, lol!

Wet n Wild Cali Sunshine
Hey guys!
Nothing To Disclose
I have a few Wet n Wild polishes to show you this week, all from the Summer 2016 Nail Sizzle collection. I've had these for a few weeks, thinking they were from the fall collection but alas, I was wrong, lol!
Cali Sunshine is popcorn butter yellow. Or maybe a sunshine yellow, ha! This was sheer and even on 3 coats, I could still see my nail line but you have to know that I just LOVE this color and the formula was good.

Color Club Almost Famous
Hey guys!
Nothing To Disclose
Apparently this week is Color Club week! LOL! I have another Color Club creme to show you today.
This is Almost Famous and you should know by now that I love yellow. However, this yellow... oy. It was kind of a mess. Very thick and because of that, covered in two coats but I had to redo my index finger several times to level out the polish and as you can see, it didn't really do that well.
This is still a beautiful color, though, despite it's rather unfortunate formula.

Round 27 of Bestie Twin Nails with The Little Canvas!
Hey guys!
Nothing To Disclose
How is it August and how is it time for another Bestie Twin Nails with Alaina from The Little Canvas??
Today we are doing a beautiful sunflower manicure! Sunflowers are my second favorite flower, just behind daisies. Don't you think a giant field of sunflowers is just so happy and friendly to look at? It's my favorite! So I grabbed some of my favorite Sally Hansen polishes and one of my all time favorite China Glaze polishes and got to work.
I started with a base of Sally Hansen Byte Blue, a gorgeous cobalt blue creme. I only did one coat because I knew I would be covering most of the nails with other colors or glitter but you do usually need two coats.
For the sunflower detail, I took a small brush and outlined the half circle for the center of the sunflower using Cocoa A Go Go. Then using Sally Hansen Butterscotch and Mellow Yellow to alternate the sunflower petals and used Butterscotch to dot the middle of the brown Cocoa A Go Go. So as not to leave the index and pinky nails out, I added one coat of China Glaze Fairy Dust and then topcoat for all the nails.
Definitely not my best work but I really like these!

OPI Washington DC Collection for Fall 2016!
Hey guys!
Nothing To Disclose
Today I have the OPI Fall 2016 Washington DC collection to share with you! I have all 15 polishes so let's just get to it! (Side note: I believe there are 3 additional Limited Edition shades available for purchase but I haven't seen those yet!)
First is Pale to the Chief, a true nude with the slightest slightest slight blue shimmer, which was basically not visible at all once applied to the nails. Whoops. This was the tiniest bit sheer after the second coat, but I will say that I also had some blue stained nails so if your nails are not stained smurf blue, you could most likely do 2 coats and have full opacity. For me, I used 3 plus topcoat.
Never A Dulles Moment is a gorgeous sunflower yellow creme. This was 3 coats plus topcoat. I didn't have any issues with formula and I pretty much just expect to do 3 coats for any yellow. I love this color, though!
Freedom of Peach is an orange creme. This was 2 coats plus topcoat.
Yank My Doodle is a rusty orangey color, and I quite like this one! This was two coats, plus topcoat.
Madam President is a pinky red (it looks more pink in person) with a FANTASTIC formula. This was 2 coats but alllllmost one.
OPI By Popular Vote is a maroon creme, opaque in two coats.
We The Female is a dark burgundy creme, opaque in 3 coats. This was almost a jelly/crelly consistency.
Kerry Blossom is a deep purple creme. 3 coats, plus topcoat.
Suzi - The First Lady of Nails is a gorgeous dark green creme. This was 2 coats plus topcoat.
Inside The Isabelletway is a tan creme, 2 coats plus topcoat.
Squeaker of The House is a medium cool toned brown. This was 2 coats, plus topcoat.
Shh... It's Top Secret is a super super super dark brown. This actually looked brown in person but not so much in pictures lol. This was 2 coats, plus topcoat.
Stay Off The Lawn! is a pine green creme. I loved this one, I'm sure you could guess. 2 coats, plus topcoat.
CIA = Color Is Awesome, a dark gray with a tinge of blue. I don't have many colors like this! I like it! 2 coats, plus topcoat.
"Liv" in the Gray is a dark Prussian blue. No surprise that I love this, too. 2 coats, plus topcoat!
I actually really really loved this collection. The yellow and green shades speak to me! LOL

Virago Varnish California Bleach Collection
Hey guys!
Nothing To Disclose
Today I have swatches of the Virago Varnish California Bleach collection. I don't believe that this is available any longer, as it's listed as sold out on the website. BUT it is still up on the site so it might be restocked at some point.
All of these had a fantastic formula and did not require a white base coat.
First is Huntington a yellow creme. This is probably the most impressive of the bunch, simply because neon yellows are very difficult to get opaque and this particular polish was opaque in two coats!
Laguna was almost a one coater but there were a few of the tiniest streaks to even out so I did two. Fantastic formula!
Malibu was another almost one coater! Again, fantastic formula!
Venice was opaque in two coats. Shockingly, a great formula LOL.
Coronado was opaque in 2 coats, and one more time: a great formula!
I love these bleached neons and hope that they are restocked at some point. So far, I've been very impressed with the Virago Varnish formulas on all of the polishes that I've tried from the brand!!
