Be Me Nail Art Pens - Review!

Hey guys!

Press Sample

Today I have a review of the Be Me Nail Art Pens, which were sent to me by Be Me/2B Colours. These pens are pretty cool because instead of just having a small striper brush for drawing, they have a full sized nail polish brush and the other side of the pen/color has a pen tip. I personally never use my stripers because I just don't have a very steady hand when it comes to small lines so I LOVE the pen tip on these!

I used all of the colors in the manicure and since we all know how terrible I am at free hand anything, this design makes no sense, lol. My base is Wet n Wild Black Creme, my favorite black polish of all time :-)

Then I went to town and started drawing and dotting and swirling. I didn't use the brush applicator at all and honestly, I probably won't ever use that part of the pen, since I love the pen tip so much.

Now, I will say that some of the caps are very difficult to pull off of the pen, like you need both hands and all of your strength difficult! But once the caps were removed the first time, it was much easier to remove them thereafter.

You can purchase the Be Me Nail Art Pens on Amazon, Walmart.com, and MyQuestStore.com!

Bestie Twin Nails with The Little Canvas! Round 12!

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose

Can you believe that it's been one year since Alaina at The Little Canvas and I started doing a monthly Bestie Twin Nails?? I can't! It seems like jus yesterday we started doing this and she had to convince me to nail art and now here we are and I'm trying to convince her to do some glitter placement nails! LOL!

I used China Glaze I Sea The Point, Treble Make, Daisy Know My Name and of course, Fairy Dust. The white is OPI MBSW because I apparently don't own a white China Glaze!

For the flowers, I used my dotting tool to make a bigger blue flower, and then dotted the white in the blue and then the yellow. Then I slapped a coat of Fairy Dust on because Fairy Dust is magical and makes everything better, amiright??

Be sure to check out Alaina's nails and you might wanna come back next month for something special ;-)

SinfulColors Street Fusion Summer 2015 Polishes

Hey guys!

Press Sample

SinfulColors has some new polishes for Summer 2015, including some fun new glitters and nail stickers.

Sky Tree is a shimmery teal. This had a really nice formula and was two coats.

Baila Baila is one of the Pinata Blast Glitter toppers, made up of blue and peach glitters in a clear base. This was one coat with a little blobbing.

Keira Blue is an indigo blue. This was 3 coats.

Fierce Fiesta is a red, yellow, and pink confetti glitter. I don't love the bar glitter in this but the colors are really cute together!

Cherry Blossom is metallic pink. This was 2 coats. Not my favorite from the bunch, but it's a pretty pink. I just don't love the metallic polishes :-p

Color Tag is a Graffiti Bomb polish made up of black, light blue, yellow, orange, blue glitter. Cute and it does look like graffiti! This was one coat and some blobbed.

You can purchase SinfulColors for $1.99 at Walgreens and other mass retailers. Visit their website (sinfulcolors.com), and check them out on their social media sites: Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Essie Flowerista and L'Oreal Garden Bouquet

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose

Essie Flowerista from their spring collection is a lovely fuchsia creme. This had a nice formula, it was 2 coats with no pooling. I wish Essie were more consistent, because if all of their polishes were like this, I would be a happy camper.

I added one coat of L'Oreal Garden Bouquet. I had to fish for the flower glitters a bit. I don't really like bar glitter but these tiny baby bar glitters are just so cute that I didn't mind them.

Whatchu think? I love Flowerista!

Twinsie Tuesday: Mattify!

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose

For today's prompt, we are mattifying a manicure. I decided to recreate this manicure using my new Orly Color Blast Belle themed polishes.

OPI MBSW was my base color and then I dotted Positively Primeval Gaston and then added a white dot to the center. Then dotted Nose In A Book and Crazy Old Maurice around the flowers, topped it off with Essie's Matte About You topcoat. Dasss cuteeeee, right? (By the way, that's how my 2 year old says "that's cute" lol. I need to get out more o.O)

2b Colours Makeup Review!

Hey guys!

Press Sample

2B Colours sent me some of their makeup products to try out and I'm presenting you with my review today! You can purchase 2B Colours at Ulta.com and select Ulta stores. I've linking the items below to the Ulta website for your convenience (not affiliate links, yo!)

The My Eye Shadow Base is a balm-like consistency. For me, this product didn't work very well. I typically have slightly oily eyelids and this type of product didn't seem to set on my eyes. I used a Color Tattoo over this and my eyeshadow creased after only a few hours. Unfortunately, this will not be a product that I continue to use :-/

Black Cat Waterproof Eyeliner has a felt marker tip with a slightly flexible tip. This claims to be a waterproof eyeliner and while it is water resistant and I had no creasing or flaking, or fading, I don't know that it's waterproof as it removed very easily. It is a very black eyeliner, which is always a win. We know I'm not good at liquid eyeliner so I'm really excited for eyeliners that have felt tip applicators like this; it's Amanda-proof! LOL

The Primer Make-up Base is a lotion type primer. This is very thin, to the point that you don't need to squeeze the tube to get any lotion out, I just hold the tube over my hand and it comes out. That probably sounds odd but it's not a bad thing! This is a nice feeling primer, it left my skin feeling soft and moisturized.

The Hydrastick in Rose is a hydrating balm that comes in 3 colors. Since it's a balm, it's very very very sheer and pretty much doesn't show up on my lips but that's okay, as it's very moisturizing to wear.

Finally..... BLUE MASCARA! I'm not even going to pretend that I wasn't terrified by this, lol. I was a chicken and applied this over my black mascara and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't as bright as I was expecting! This mascara comes in 8 colors, so if colored mascara is your jam, 2B Colours has got you covered! And I really like the full bristle brush!

I would check out 2B Colours at your local Ulta or online. The items are affordable and aside from the eye primer and it not setting (which could have been due to my oily eyelids), I enjoyed using these products!

Zoya Delight for Spring 2015: My Picks!

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose

Zoya's Spring polish collection was called Delight and is made up of 3 shimmers and 3 creams. I have 3 of the 6 polishes to show you today. These were sent to me via a polish swap!

First up, Tiana. This is a beautiful pale pistachio green but was a bit tricky to apply. As you can see, it doesn't look the greatest. I used 3 thin coats, as it was a little bit patchy after two but the 3rd coat seemed to be thicker and just wouldn't really level out. Such a bummer because this is a gorgeous color!

Leslie is a purple shimmer with blue flash. This had a better formula but was still thin, so this picture is 3 coats. The shimmer wasn't as visible as in the bottle but I also didn't use a topcoat to bring it to life :-) This does look a little more purple in real life than it's being depicted here.

Rayne is a sky blue shimmer. Again, I used 3 thin coats as it was a bit sheer.

Did you pick up any from this collection? What do you think?

Orly Sugar High: My Picks + Nail Art!

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose

Today I have the polishes I picked from the Spring 2015 Orly Sugar High collection.

Cake Pop is a pale pale pale pale pale pale pinky white. It is basically a white pink, if that makes sense. This was 3 coats and it was still a bit streaky after 3 coats.

Key Lime Twist is a bright pale lime green. This was 3 coats, as well.

Plum Sugar is a dark royal purple. This was 2 coats.

Since I loved the bright green with the dark purple, I did a quick dotticure using all three polishes.

Did you purchase any of the Orly Sugar High collection? What were your favorites??

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose Press Sample Affiliate Link

Today we are doing nail art based on our favorite cup or mug. My favorite mug is a a big old mug that I found at Marshalls; it has a red poppy and leafy print. I decided to bust out some nail stickers because we all know I can't freehand lol!!

I used my favorite white evah, OPI's My Boyfriend Scales Walls and then used my dotting tool to dot Smokey Mountain Lacquers Roses of Pearl. A coat of NYC In A Minute topcoat and I'm good to go, yo!

You should probably go see what the other Twinsies have done!!

Bonita Colors Cocktails in Aruba and Miss Piggy

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose

I recently took advantage of one of the Ipsy Offers to purchase an offer from Bonita Colors, which included two polishes and two velvet lip creams.

Cocktails in Aruba is a gorgeous a seaglass teal color. This was two coats and could have probably benefited from a third but I left it at two.

Miss Piggy is a dark magenta pink creme. This was two coats.

I've spoken before of Bonita Colors and I love these polishes. I love the square bottles, I love the price... I love 'em! You can purchase them at Rite Aid drug stores or online at bonitacolors.com.

2b Colours Nail Polish Review

Hey guys!

Press Sample

Today I have two polishes to share with you from 2b Colours. This brand recently became available on Ulta.com and is available in select Ulta stores. The only store in Michigan it is available is in Westland, so if you're near that city, check out the in store display!

Cerise Red is a red with a lot of pink in the polish. It looked more like a dark, bright pink in person, if that makes sense!! LOL This had a nice formula and applied very easily with 2 coats.

Jeans Look - Black is a slightly textured black polish with a tiny scattering of silver shimmer throughout. This was pretty opaque in one coat but the color deepened up quite a bit on the second. And of course I did not use a top coat for this polish ;-)

I realize it looks more gray here but that's due to my lighting and angle of the hand pose.

These were nice polishes to apply, I didn't have any issues with either one. Be sure to check out 2b Colours on Ulta.com (Or in store, if you are lucky enough to do so!) and look for a makeup review for some 2b Colours products coming soon!

China Glaze Electric Nights Collection

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose

Today I have the China Glaze Summer 2015 Electric Nights collection to show you! I'm sure you've seen these all over the place already! Let's just get right to it!

Daisy Know My Name - 3 coats, a little streaky but I love this color yellow.

Home Sweet House Music - 3 coats

Point Me To The Party - 1 coat blobbed over HSHM. This is a green, purple, orange, and blue assorted hex matte glitter.

Red-y To Rave - 3 coats, good formula. I LOVE this color, it's soooo bright!

Can I Get An Untz Untz - 1 coat over RTR. This is a light green, dark green, and purple matte glitter.

Glow With The Flow - 3 coats. Super super bright and awesome!

Plur-ple - 3 coats

Let The Beat Drop - 1 coat over Plur-ple. Orange and pink matte glitters!

Violet Vibes - 3 coats

UV Meant To Be - 3 coats

DJ Blue My Mind - 2 coats, but it could have used a third. And yes there is a bald spot on my middle finger. I goofed.

Treble Maker - 3 coats. I love this, it's like an electric neon mint. So fun!

Even though most of these were 3 coaters, I still like this collection. The colors are very bright and fun and perfect for summer. I don't know about you but I'm all about neons and I just can't get enough of them!

Have you picked up any from this collection? What were your favorites?
