Virago Varnish 77 Collection

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose

I have 5 of the polishes from the Virago Varnish 77 Collection today. This came out in the fall but I was as per usual slacking and just got around to swatching these.

The Hustle is an orange terracotta creme polish. It's one of those "ugly pretty" colors that I love so much. This is pure 70's awesome decor rust brown orange awesomeness. This is 1 coat. Yep. 1 coat.

12 Inch Single is  a dark merlot creme polish. Another really great formula and another one coater!!

The Bus Stop is mossy green creme. And not to sound like a broken record (haha, get it?), this had another fantastic formula and covered in 1 coat.

Disco King is a blue jelly with holographic glitter. This built up nicely in 2 coats.

Disco Diva is a brown jelly with holographic glitter. 2 coats for opacity on this baby, too.

Some of these colors are still available on the site. Did you grab any from this collection? Have you tried Virago Varnish before? From what I've tried, they have the 1 coat creme formula on lock! So good!

Sally Hansen Color Therapy Haute Stone

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose

I enjoyed the Sally Hansen Color Therapy polishes so much that I purchased another, this time in the color Haute Stone. This is a rich brown with very subtle red shimmer. The shimmer isn't very obvious on the nail but every so often, it catches the light and is a really cool combination. This had a great formula and was opaque in 2 coats.

Have you tried the Sally Hansen Color Therapy line yet?

KL Polish Swatches!

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose

I have swatches of 5 of the 6 polishes from the KL Polish inaugural release.  I didn't purchase Snickerdoodle because I just didn't think I would wear that color very often but the rest looked perfect for me :)

One thing I will mention about these polishes actually has to do with the brush. The brush is very short and a wide paddle brush. At first, I really didn't care for it but once I applied a coat or two and got used to the feel of the short brush and wand, it wasn't a problem at all. I generally prefer a paddle brush so that was no issue for me.

Oh, and all of these polishes dry really really shiny!

Zoey is a rosy mauve creme. A nice formula on this polish, almost opaque in 1 coat but it needed 2 for complete coverage.

Caramello is a mustard creme. This is the star of the show for me. I love this sort of ugly pretty color and don't have anything exactly like this in my collection. Another 2 coater, good formula.

Brick Sidewalk is a brick red creme. Another great formula, and opaque in 2 coats.

Gumption! is a navy blue creme... almost a crelly type of formula. This was still opaque in 2 coats despite being a jelly/crellyish formula.

Broccoli & Chocolate is deep brown. This was a little bit thin and needed 3 coats.

Have you tried KL Polish yet? These colors aren't terribly unique, with the exception of Caramello but the collection is nice and the formulas and polishes are nice to wear. I was pleased with these for a first collection and would definitely purchase from the brand again!

Cirque Colors Swatches!

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose Affiliate Link

Today I have swatches of 4 Cirque Colors polishes! I received these in a Secret Santa gift at Christmas time and I didn't want to wait toooo long to wear these beauties! Let's get to the swatches!

Morganite is a beautiful peachy pink with holographic micro flakies. Ugh this is SO SO gorgeous in person. The holographic flakies catch the light beautifully. This was 2 coats! It had a great formula!

Garnet is a burgundy red with holographic flakies. Another fantastic formula on this polish and it covered completely in 2 coats.

Paraiba is a bright teal green with silver holographic flakies. This is STUNNING in person. Completely mesmerizing. Another amazing formula, opaque in 2 coats.

Tanzanite is an indigo with holographic flakes. Another gorgeous color, even more so in person and another great formula. This was 2 coats but it was so so close to being opaque in 1 coat.

So wow, if you haven't picked any of these polishes up yet, I highly suggest them. They were a pleasure to apply and gorgeous to wear!

Zoya Week!

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose

On Black Friday, Zoya blessed us with the best Black Friday sale ever, offering a whopping 70% off everything! WHAT! Yep. I had to take advantage of that and ordered several polishes, which I will be showing you this week!

We'll start with Rocha, a beautiful red orange creme. This was two coats.

Next is Dixie, a bright pink creme and is supposedly a 1 coater, but this definitely needed 2 coats. And even then, it wasn't really perfect.

Heather is a light lavender purple with a very subtle shimmer. This was 3 coats.

Lastly for this post, Perrie, a delightful orchid creme. This had a great formula and was opaque in 2 coats.

More Zoya to come tomorrow and Thursday! GET PUMPED, YO!

Glitter Gal Love Bite

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose

I've had several Glitter Gal polishes as untrieds for... well... much longer than I would care to admit. I don't really know where to easily purchase this brand, as it's an Australian brand. Regardless, the polishes I have are very pretty so let's look at the red I chose to swatch.

This is Love Bite, a true red holo. This has a great formula, opaque in 2 coats.

Have you tried Glitter Gal? What do you think?

Merry Christmas Eve to those that celebrate! I am still trucking through these red and green posts, phew!

Fittingly enough, today's post is Liquid Sky Lacquer Sleigh Me, a deep red holo. I don't know why it's so difficult to find a true red holo but they aren't very readily available! I love that this is just about as red as they come! This had a great formula and coered in 2 coats.

SinfulShine Breaking Bland

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose

Today's red post is from SinfulShine and is called Breaking Bland. This is an orange leaning red with shimmer. Or maybe it's a red with orange shimmer. Either with, it's glowy and lovely and was opaque in 2 coats. I've found these SinfulShine polishes to have very nice formulas and this was no different.

Sally Hansen Color Therapy Swatches!

Hey guys!

Press Sample

Today I have 6 (plus one that I purchased, so 7!) of the new Sally Hansen Color Therapy polishes! There are some lovely colors in this post so let's get to them!

Sally Hansen continues to lead in innovation by introducing its new Color Therapy products:  a nail polish, top coat, and nail & cuticle oil, inspired by women’s desire to wear beautiful color while simultaneously caring for their nails. Sally Hansen’s Color Therapy nail polish contains a patented micro-delivery system that delivers an argan oil-enriched formula, resulting in intensive nourishment and instant moisture for healthier-looking nails. The Color Therapy nail polish needs no base coat so the oil complex can directly contact the bare nail. 9 out of 10 women experienced a noticeable improvement in their natural nails after wearing the Color Therapy nail polish. Vibrant tones, available in three magnificent palettes, glide on for a radiant, shiny finish with up to 10 days of fade-proof, chip-resistant wear. The Color Therapy nail polish provides the ultimate color that cares while you wear, with everything needed to restore nails without sacrificing luminous color.

Complete your manicure with the Color Therapy top coat and nail & cuticle oil, both formulated with the same argan oil contained in the nail polish. The top coat provides an ultra-glossy finish for extended wear, and the nail & cuticle oil, the ultimate in nail therapy, instantly makes nails and cuticles look healthier, restored, and rejuvenated.

The Ingredient Story

Color Therapy blends a complex of natural argan, acai, and evening primrose oil to condition weak, dry nails. Argan oil contains high levels of unsaturated fatty acids, as well as vitamin E, an antioxidant vital for healthy skin and nails. Acai berry oil is rich in omega-3, 6, and 9 essential fatty acids that are valued for nutrition and conditioning in skin and hair care. Evening primrose oil features essential fatty acids that are known to help reinforce hair strength.

Mauve Mantra is a carnation pink with subtle gold shimmer. This swatch is two coats. I'm not usually the biggest pink polish lover but I liked this! The shimmer is more noticeable than anticipated and it really pairs nicely with the pink.

Robes and Rosé is a metallic fuchsia. This is more my kind of pink polish! Shown here in 2 coats.

Unwine-d is a gorgeous wine red creme. This was a little thin and required 3 coats but I do love a deep red polish every now and then!

Therpewter is a slightly blackened pewter metallic. This had a great formula and was surprisingly opaque in 2 coats.

Bamboost is a lovely dark khaki creme. This was also a bit thin and needed 3 coats for opacity.

Ja-cozy is a cobalt blue creme, which you know is always my favorite! This was 2 coats!

I purchased one of the Color Therapy polishes myself, Slicks and Stones. A deep purple with purple and pink and blue shimmers definitely gives the effect of an oil slick. This was 2 coats.

Have you tried the Color Therapy polishes yet? I only swatched these so I cannot attest to the moisturizing claims; however, the colors and formula's were nice and I will keep wearing these!

Nine Zero Holiday Collection + POTM

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose Press Sample

I have 9 Nine Zero polishes to show you today! The November and December Polishes of the Month and the Holiday Collection! Let's get to it!

November 2016 is a fuchsia linear holo. As always, the formula was perfect and it was opaque in 2 coats.

December 2016 is an icy blue linear holo. Same as always, perfect and opaque in 2 coats.

Jess brought back her Thanksgiving trio from last year and made a crelly version of Stuffed so I had to buy that, obviously. This is 2 coats. The glitter is packed in this polish so the formula was a little thick, which I prefer.

Then Jess so kindly sent along her Holiday Collection for this year. 6 polishes, a perfect collection size lol.

Sugar Cookie is a white crelly with red, green, and yellow glitter shards. This was 2 coats plus topcoat.

Pink Christmas is a medium pink with tons of gold shimmer. This was 2 coats, plus topcoat.

Midnight is an indigo purple with tons of holographic glitter. 2 coats.

Frost is a teal jelly base with holographic glitter. This was 3 coats.

Balsam is a pine green holo and opaque in 2 coats.

Golden Lights is the gold version of last year's Twinkle Lights. 3 coats, plus topcoat.

Have you purchased any of these or any other Nine Zero polishes? What are your favorites?
