China Glaze Rainstorm Jelly Sandwich

Hey guys! I hope everyone is having a nice Sunday so far! We are getting ready to head down to the Lions game today, for some tailgating and football fun. GO LIONS! :-)

Today's post is inspired by Bridget from LuxeBeautyForever.com. Well, actually, it's inspired by her Instagram pictures. She ALWAYS posts the best combinations and manicures and MAKES me (that's right, MAKES ME) buy so much polish!! :-P When I saw this combination, I knew I had to recreate it.

I started with 2 coats of China Glaze Rainstorm, which is a periwinkle blue jelly. Then, I added 1 coat of Black Cat Lacquer Let Them Eat Cake, an iridescent glitter. Then 1 more coat of Rainstorm to top it off.

I LOVE THIS!

What do you think? What is your favorite jelly sandwich combination? I love to hear new combinations!

Candy Lacquer Over The Rainbow

Hey guys! Any fun plans for this weekend? I think I'm going to do a little yard work today. I should swatch my monster pile of untrieds but it's a lovely day and I want to be outside :-)

HEARTS IN GLITTER WUUUTTTTTT!!!!

To say that I love glitter is completely redundant, so when I saw the Over the Rainbow polish had hearts in it... well, it had to be mine.

I used CND Blackjack as the base, and 1 coat of CL Over the Rainbow, which I blobbed around and fished out the hearts.

I don't get how people don't like glitter. It boggles my fairy dusted mind :-p

Pretty And Polished Hearts And Daggers

Hey guys! Happy Friday!!!

Here is another lovely Pretty and Polished beauty for you today! First, let's see the base color.

Orly Sapphire Silk was sent to me by the lovely Karen at Frazzle and Aniploish. This polish has been on my wishlist forever so I was totally surprised when I received it :-) Thanks Karen!

I used two effortless coats of Sapphire Silk, with no topcoat. Look at the shine!

The addition to this lovely blue is Pretty and Polished Hearts and Daggers. I love the heart glitter in this and I feel like my girl Amanda @ The Nail Polish Enthusiast would love this too. That girl loves hearts, lol!

To apply this polish, I did fish around the the pieces I wanted and sort of blobbed them onto the nail.

So cute, right? I feel like a deck of cards! :-p

Rainbow Honey The Worst Possible Thing

Hey guys! It's almost Friday. Yay!!!

Rainbow Honey is slowly but surely becoming one of my favorite brands. I love the combinations of textures and colors!

I layered two coats of RH The Worst Possible Thing over black. It looks like automatic galaxy nails, I think!

Pink Wednesday: Candy Lacquer Argyle

Hey guys!

Today I have one of my first Candy Lacquer's to share with you!

I love argyle. I'm a giant dorky, preppy person. And I don't care. So when I first saw Argyle, I was all "wwhhhaatt?? NEEEDD!!" but held off on buying anything because... ya know.. willpower and all that. That soon waned and I purchased 4 Candy Lacquers :-/

For these pictures, I layered 1 coat of CL Argyle over butter LONDON Snog. It was fairly easy to apply, a little bit of moving around but nothing terrible.

I really liked this over pink. I thought it was quite sassy :-) Stay tuned to see my other lovely Candy Lacquers!

Lac Attack Butterfly Kisses

Hey guys!

Continuing the Indie Polish Awesomeness that has been happening on Fashion Footing lately, I have another awesome indie for you today! But first, let's start with the base color.

For my base color, I used 2 coats of Kleancolor Concrete Gray. It was nice and shiny without a topcoat!

Then, I dabbed on one coat of Lac Attack Butterfly Kisses (OMG BUTTERFLY GLITTER!!!!!!). What is cool about the butterflies is that they look like they are curling, but they aren't... SO THEY LOOK LIKE THEY ARE FLYING OMG HOW AWESOME IS THAT?!?!?!?!? I was excited.

I did have to fish out the butterflies and dab the glitter around with this polish; however, I am pretty much prepared to do that for any shaped glitter like this.

Go buy lots of Lac Attack. Just do it.

Lush Lacquer Swatches

Hey guys! Yay Monday :-p

Today I have several Lush Lacquer polishes to share with you! Lush Lacquer is a mother and daughter team, which I think is the coolest thing ever!

First is Color Me Gray. This is a sheer gray base with blue, red, purple, and yellow glitter. I used 2 coats. The formula on this was a little bit thick.

Next is Oopsie Daisy. You probably don't know this but daisies are my favorite flower, particularly gerbera daisies. They are just so happy and cheery, you can't be mad when looking at a daisy! I love the flower glitter in this.

The base is a bit lighter than Color Me Gray.

This was a bit thick, as well, but it was manageable. I used 2 coats here.

Sugar Daddy is a white base with yellow, red, blue, green, and purple mixture of bar and hex glitter.

I used 3 coats for this. My fingers look really gloopy in these pictures, but I promise that they didn't look like this in real life!

Tropical Kisses is a mixture of yellow, pink, green, and red matte glitter in a sheer lime green base. This was a little bit thick, so definitely wait in between coats when applying! I used 3 coats here.

Pebbles is very similar to Tropical Kisses in application: a little thick, wait in between coats! I used 3 coats here. I love the micro matte glitter! Blue, purple, yellow... and maybe brown?

Do you have any Lush Lacquer? What are your thoughts? You can purchase Lush Lacquer on Etsy.
