Milani Dotticure Featuring Mint Chip, Blue Jay, and Lavender FX

Hey guys! Happy Friday! Any fun plans this weekend? Hopefully my baby will make her grand entrance into the world this weekend... today is my due date! Ack! Where did the last 9 months go???

Today I have some fun new Milani colors to show you in the form of a cute dotticure!

First, I used Mint Chip from the Retro Glam Limited Edition collection. This beautiful green was just about perfect in two coats.

Then, I added some dots using Blue Jay from the Fantastical Plumage Limited Edition collection. Who doesn't love dots?!

Finally, I picked out some purple glitters from the Lavender FX glitter and placed them on a good amount of my dots.

 Macro with top coat!
What do you think? The Retro Glam and Fantastical Plumage collections are limited edition so be sure to check your Meijer and CVS stores for these collections!

Shimmer Jasmine

*Products were provided for free for my honest review and opinion*

Hey guys!

Shimmer Jasmine is loaded with aquamarine and turquoise glitters, with some red, orange, and yellowy/green glitter too!

This totally reminds me of the Disney Princess Jasmine. I'm not sure if that's intentional, but it's what I think of!

This is 3 coats, no top coat.

Pretty & Polished Color Changing Polish - Sundown

*Products were provided for free for my honest review and opinion*

Hey guys!

Chels recently sent me one of her thermal polishes to review! The polish she sent is called Sundown, an orange to yellow thermal polish with assorted glitter shapes. This is my first time using a thermal polish, so I was pretty pumped to try it :-)

Sundown, two coats. Since it is about 90 degrees here, the polish was changing very quickly, even before I went outside so I ran my fingers under cold water to stop the changing! So, sorry for the wet fingers... it looks kind of gross :-/

Even before I went outside, Sundown started changing to its yellow temperament.

Just stepped outside. . .

Full on color change! This was a very fast change, merely seconds. That's pretty fast!

Outside, in the shade.

I think this is pretty fun. Have you tried any thermal polishes yet? What do you think of them?

Be sure to check out the Pretty & Polished website!

Influenster Sunkissed Vox Box - Olay Fresh Effects BB Cream

*Products were sent from Influenster for my honest review*

Hey guys!

Today I have the new Olay Fresh Effects BB Cream to review for you!

I never wear anything on my face other than eye makeup. Call me lazy, that's fine. I either don't have time in the morning or I just don't feel like putting extra stuff on my face. So I had no previous experience with any BB creams.

"The Olay Fresh Effects {BB Cream} Skin Perfecting Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 15 (that's a mouthful!) offers 24-hour hydration and a splash of sheer color. This all-in-one skin perfecter, sunscreen, and tinted moisturizer evens tone and refreshes dullness, for flawless looking skin (available in two shades: fair/light and light/medium)."

Since I'm pregnant and look tired, ya know... all of the time, I did wear this to work one day to see if anyone noticed that I looked fresher and more awake. Everyone comments on how tired one looks! Not cool, man.

Well... no one noticed. I don't think the coverage on this is that great; I didn't notice a difference when I put it on. But it smells really wonderful and it has SPF, which I am also dreadful at using :-/

Olay Fresh Effects {BB Cream} retails for $12.99.

Shimmer Jennifer

*Products were provided for free for my honest review and opinion*

Hey guys!

Shimmer polishes are so complex, it's a little bit tricky to pick out all of the colors used!

In Shimmer Jennifer, I see orange, black, light blues, teals, and what looks like lime green.

I used 3 coats here, with no basecoat or top coat.

Check out the other gorgeous Shimmer colors here or contact her to create a custom polish just for you!

Influenster Sunkissed VoxBox - Goody Ouchless Ribbon Elastics

*Products were sent from Influenster for free for my honest review*

Hey guys!

Goody Ouchless Ribbon Elastics... we're all familiar with Goody! I have about a bajillion elastic bands that I always use for pulling my hair back or into a ponytail and I always buy Goody. They are durable and it takes a loooottt of stretching for the bands to break!

"The embodiment of fashion and comfort from America's #1 elastics brand, the new Ouchless Ribbon Elastics are the pretty solution to hot summer hair days."

My hair is quite thick, so I always wrap the elastic around my ponytail three times. I hate loose ponytails! With the design of these, I was only able to wrap the elastic around the ponytail twice. It didn't feel quite as secure as I am used to, but it didn't fall out, either.

These bands are much more decorative than what I usually use, so it makes for a fun hair accessory, while providing function, as well!

Good Ouchless Ribbon Elastics retail for between $3.99- $4.99.

Influenster Sunkissed Vox Box - Dr. Scholl's For Her High Heel Insoles

*Products were provided by Influenster for my honest review*

Hey guys!

Today I have some Dr. Scholl's For Her High Heel Insoles to review! These were included in the most recent Influenster VoxBox, the Sunkissed box.

Now, being that I'm 9 months pregnant, I'm not wearing a ton of super high heels right now. Flip flops are calling to me a little bit more than my heels, at the moment :-) BUT I still love my shoes and I tested these babies out around the house and am happy to report that they do make a difference in the shoes!

The shoes I wore the insoles in are Lela Rose for Payless. Aren't they soooo cute?! Love that mustard color!! And the bow? Dead from cuteness.

Anyway, they shoes aren't terribly uncomfortable on their own but after a while of wearing any heel this high, the feet start to feel it!

The insoles have a removable plastic sheeting on the back so the insert will adhere to the shoe. No worries, it's not going to be a permanent adhesion! You can remove the insole and use it in other shoes without damaging the shoe or the insole! Yes!

I did notice a little bit of added tightness while wearing the shoes, but it wasn't uncomfortable. I personally like my shoes to be quite fitted... that way I won't walk out of them! LOL

I can't wait to try these during an actual walking around out of the house event and now just schlepping up and down the hallway in my house!

Dr. Scholl's For Her High Heels insoles retail for $10.99.

SpaRitual Health, Wealth & Happiness and Shooting Star

Hey guys!

My lovely friend Arlyn sent me some polishes recently and here are two of the beauties she sent!

SpaRitual Health, Wealth & Happiness is an indigo duochrome. This was 3 thin coats.

Shooting Star is a dark purple shimmer with loads of pinky orange shimmer. This was 2 coats.

Neither of these polishes are recent but they are sooo so pretty! The thing I always find with SpaRitual is the polishes are so much prettier on the nail than in the bottle.

Julep Nadia and Tracy

Hey guys!

I have two of the polishes from the July Maven box to share with you today! Where is the 3rd, you ask? That's a great question!! I'm not really sure where those pictures went :-/ Whoops.

Anyway, these were my favorite from the box so let's get to it!

First, Nadia. Julep calls this "a sun-kissed golden frost." I consider this more of a shimmer than a frost. I used 3 thin coats here.

Personally, I love yellows and am always excited to find a yellow polish that is so pretty. This is a soft yellow and that shimmer is pretty awesome!

Tracy is "a sparkling ocean sea salt" polish, which is what Julep calls their texture polishes. I'm really enjoying these texture polishes with the shimmer/glitter in the formula. I think it definitely adds to the polish!

I used 2 coats here. This dried relatively quickly. I will say that it had a little bit of a stronger smell than the other Juleps, a little more..... chemically? The texture polishes are still 4 Free, but maybe something in the texture adds to the smell. It wasn't offensive, just something worth mentioning.

What do you think of these colors? Are you on board with the texture polish trend? What are some of your favorite textures?

Influenster Sunkissed VoxBox - SinfulShine In The Limelight

*Products were sent for my honest review*
Hey guys!

Influenster recently sent out their Sunkissed Vox Box and included in this box was a new product from Sinful Nail Polish, Sinful Shine, with Gel Tech.

The color I received was In The Limelight, a pretty grass green. I used 2 coats, with no top coat. Look at that shine!

The formula on this was pretty perfect, no pooling, dragging, etc. Love that!

I wore this for 3 days with very minimal tip wear. I only changed my polish because I tore a nail and wanted my hands to match, lol.

SinfulShine is available at Walgreens for a limited time, in 32 eye-popping shades! If you are a fan of the gel polishes, I would suggest checking these out. For $2.99, you can't go wrong!

Essence Gradient with Bella and Romeo

Hey guys!

Is everyone freaking out that I'm not using the Essence Twins together? Haha! Sorry!

Today I have a simple gradient using Bella and Romeo. I applied two coats of Bella and then did the reverse gradient with Romeo.

I like simple gradients like this but holy moly, this stained my nails like WHOA!! So be warned! LOL
