The Lazy 15: Guilty Pleasure

Hey guys!

Today's challenge is Your Guilty Pleasure. Maybe I'm weird but I don't feel guilty about the things I like. I like One Direction... not guilty. I like what I like and I don't care who knows it, lol.

So I figured today would be a good day to show you some glitter. OBVIOUSLY, I love glitter, this is definitely not a secret.

I used 4 Black Cat Lacquers for these glitter skittles and I used two coats of each over 2 coats of Zoya Dove:
Bloody Kisses
Tetris
I Want Candy
Eye Candy

What's your guilty pleasure?? Don't forget to check out the other Lazy 15 bloggers.

The Lazy 15 Challenge: Fairy Tale

Hey guys!

For today's challenge, I went with a generic fairy tale theme. To me, it looks like a pretty, tulle-y glittery dress. What do you think?

I started with 2 lovely coats of Bettina Orchidea, my first Bettina!! This is a lovely pale pale aqua color. Perfect application and formula!

Next, I dabbed on two coats of Essence Snow White "The Huntsman" on the tips of my nails. This is a gold glitter but it's got the tiniest hint of rose gold to it. Very very pretty!

Well, what do you think?

Revlon French Roast with Lush Lacquer Thanks A Latte

Hey guys! Happy Tuesday. Did anyone get any awesome Cyber Monday deals? We got a few things and a few Christmas gift. Whoohoo! Yay for packages!

Today's post is a coffee-inspired manicure, lol!

Revlon French Roast is a warm brown shimmer. This was easy 2 coats. The shimmer in this was more evident in person, but I didn't have any sun. Boo.
 SHIMMER MACRO!

I added 2 coats of Lush Lacquer Thanks A Latte. The blue glitter in this looks awesome with the brown base, don't you think?

GLITTER MACRO!

Orly Monster Mash and Right Amount Of Evil

Hey guys! Did everyone have a nice Thanksgiving? Did you score any major deals on Black Friday/this weekend? I started my Christmas shopping but I am not done. My family is hard to buy for, lol.

Today's Lazy 15 is... umm... well, it's not really part of the theme at all. I forgot to do a post so you're getting random glitter swatches instead. Sorry :-/

I have to say, I am loving the Flash Glam FX glitters Orly is releasing. Fab-U-lous!

Monster Mash is a green hex glitter with green/holographic bar glitter. I layered it over Wet n Wild Black Creme. This is two coats of Monster Mash.

 GLITTER MACRO!

Right Amount of Evil over OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls. This was a little bit thicker than the other glitters. I need to re-swatch this and be a little more patient :-p Two coat, no top coat.

Catrice Run Forest Run!

Hey guys! I have a quick post for you today. I'm so behind on all my blogs and blogging and drafts and photos and guest posts... that is what I am trying to catch up on today!

Today's post is all about the green!

Catrice Run Forest Run! was one of the first polishes I saw when I started blog stalking but I figured that since it is a foreign brand, I would never own it. And then I discovered swapping and YAY IT BECAME MINE!

A lovely dusty green creme, RFR! covered nicely in two even coats.

What is your favorite Catrice?

DIFFERENT Dimensions Hanna with A England Guinevere

Hey guys! Happy Saturday! Has anyone gotten a good chunk of their Christmas shopping done? I managed to get a few gifts... and also a few things for me, lol!

If you follow me on Twitter, you've probably noticed that I've recently become obsessed with a show on ABC Family called Pretty Little Liars. I place the blame entirely on Amanda, Maria, and Radha! LOL

Anyway, when Amanda mentioned a seller called DIFFERENT Dimensions on Etsy selling a PLL set of nail polishes... I pretty much leaped onto the internet to investigate. And then of course I bought the set. So today I have the first polish from that set, Hanna. But first, I have to show you my base color!

A England's Guinevere made the perfect base for this glitter. I. Love. A England. Adina is the sweetest and her polish never disappoints. I used two coats of Guinevere here, that lovely lavender color cream, you! This was a little bit thinner than the other A England's I've used, but nothing unmanageable.

Then, I added 2 coats of Hanna. Magenta, white, and purple glitter, yes please!!

So pretty!

The Lazy 15 Challenge: Inspired by the Sea

Hey guys! How was your Thanksgiving? Did you brave the crowds and do any shopping last night or early this morning? And if so, what did you get?! :-)

Today's Lazy 15 Challenge is Inspired by the Sea. This inspiration makes sense in my head but I'm not really sure how it relates to the sea?? LOL Take a look!

I started with one coat of Sation Oh My Oceania, this gorgeous shimmery turquoise.

Then I added 2 coats of Lac Attack Bad Moon Rising, a red, green, and blue glitter. I did move the glitters around a bit to get the situated on the nails.

I'm not sure how this is inspired by the sea, but it kind of reminds me of corals and fish so there! LOL

Orly Miss Conduct and Too Fab

Hey guys! Happy Thanksgiving to those celebrating! I'm pretty pumped for some foooodddd!!! :-)

Today's post features two new Orly glitters and is not at all Thanksgiving-y, lol! Let's get to the fabulousness, shall we?

First, Miss Conduct. This is a lovely fuchsia glitter. This applied sooooo much more smoothly than I was expecting! I used two coats, no top coat.

With Flash:

MACRO!!

Since glitter on glitter is my favorite thing, I added one good coat of Too Fab, a gold hex glitter. Kind of Effie Trinket-esque, don't ya think?

 GLITTER MACRO!
These glitters look like they were curling, but I promise you they were not. Just embedded in a sea of glittery awesomeness :-)

Do you love glitter?!?!? Let's be friends!

The Lazy 15 Challenge: Disney Inspired

Hey guys!

Sorry today's post is so late! I was having blogger issues this morning and then ran some errands. So here is my super late challenge post!

The polishes used were:
Sinful Neptune (blue)
China Glaze Solar Power (yellow)
China Glaze Flirty Tankini (pink hearts)

I posted this picture on Instagram earlier and no one guessed the correct inspiration! LOL I think that means I failed!

I was inspired by this picture:

Beauty and the Beast is my favorite Disney movie but I cannot draw to save my life. I can barely write my name straight up and down, lol. So recreating this wasn't going to happen for me. I decided to do an accent nail in yellow for Belle's dress, and the blue nails were representing the Beast's jacket. And then obviously the hearts were from the background.

Don't forget to check out the other bloggers Disney inspired manicures!

Essie Recessionista Cloud Mani

Hey guys! Sorry today's post is a little late; my internet was down when I got home from work so I took a nap! Ha!

Today's polish is brought to you by Klout! I love Klout perks!  This is the 3rd or 4th Essie perk I've received and I'm always so excited to get them! My most recent perk was Recessionista from Essie's Stylenomics collection.

Recessionista is a lovely wine creme. This is one of those Essie cremes that is so freaking perfect. Beautiful formula, no cuticle pooling or dragging... In fact, the first photo I'm showing you is only one coat of Recessionista.

Now two coats.

Then I decided to play with some colors and picked out 3 kind of weird colors for this cloud mani.

The copper color is another Klout Perk, Penny Talk. The blue is L'Oreal Knotting Hill Blue.

And then I added some China Glaze Fairy Dust because if you aren't sure you love a manicure, add Fairy Dust and it will be better :-)

I ended up really liking this combination. It was something different and it was definitely eye catching! The blue was so bright and pretty! And then the Fairy Dust just magnified the awesome :-)

What do you think? Do you love the cloud mani? It's such a great, simple way to do some 'nail art', which I am dreadful at!

The Lazy 15 Challenge: Dessert

Hey guys! Can you believe that it's Thanksgiving week already?? I can't! I am excited that I have a 3 day work week, then lots of food and shopping to be had :-) What are your plans for this Thanksgiving holiday?

Today's challenge is Dessert nails. I decided to go with one of my favorite desserts: mint ice cream with sprinkles!

I started with two coats of China Glaze Re-Fresh Mint, then added one coat of Candie's Over The Rainbow for the sprinkles. Pretty simple, I know.

Influenster Beauty Blogger Vox Box: Vitabath Fragrance MIst

Hey guys!

Info from Influenster VoxBox card:

"Vitabath presents a new line of lightweight Fragrance Mists in 16 fabulous scents. This revitalizing, weightless formula is infused with conditioning vitamins and a unique antioxidant blend to keep your skin refreshed and happy. Smell absolutely delicious with Vitabath!"

The scent I received was Cupcake. Again, I'm more of a floral scent person. I don't ever really notice how long perfume or mists last because... I can't really smell me, lol. But my husband noticed later in the day (well, after I asked him) that I smelled nice.

While this scent wasn't my favorite, I would definitely try other Vitabath products.

Influenster Beauty Blogger VoxBox: Not Your Mother's Kinky Moves Curl Defining Hair Cream

Hey guys!

"Kinky Moves is infused with natural grape seed and jasmine to encourage natural curls and eliminate frizz and fly-aways."

My hair isn't even kind of curly so this product didn't work for me. However, it smelled really nice! I love the smell of jasmine.

I'm going to give this to someone who has curly hair and hopefully it will work well for them :-)

Influenster Beauty Blogger: Bath & Body Works Mini Candle

Hey guys!

"Bath and Body Works Mini Candle are mini but mighty! B&BW Mini Candles provide an amazing fragrance experience exclusively developed and tested by a team of Home Fragrance experts, including the world's best master perfumers."

The candle I received was Mahogany Teakwood, a blend of mahogany, cedarwood, and oak, highlighted by lavender and geranium. I would say this is more of a manly scent... or earthy, I guess. Typically, I'm all floral scents but this wasn't bad at all. I actually liked it.

It burned for several hours, two different days, which is great for a mini candle (1.3oz).

I have purchased a lot of Bath & Body Works candles over the years and I will continue to do so. They smell great, there are always sales, and they have nice scents that aren't overpowering but are strong enough that you can smell them!

Influenster Beauty Blogger: EBoost

Hey guys!

Info from the card Influenster included in the VoxBox:

"EBOOST will boost your mood, focus, and immunity with natural ingredients and no crash. As a shot or an easy-to mix power and in four flavors, you'll feel great whether you choose Orange, Pink Lemonade, Acai Pomegranate, or Super Berry."

I already reviewed this item once before and the new review is the same:  I didn't noticed a difference in energy. The taste was fine; I mixed it in a glass of water, but towards the end of the glass, it started tasting a little chalky.
