Twinsie Tuesday: Geometric

Today's prompt is Geometric and we know I ain't drawing out anything because I am not that talented, lol. So I pulled out some trusty nail vinyls and a few A England polishes: Spirit of the Moors, Gloriana, & Virgin Queen.

Two coats of Spirit of the Moors and once that was dry, I used a herring bone (??) nail vinyl on my ring finger. I applied Gloriana and Virgin Queen and removed the vinyl. A coat of topcoat and voila! I didn't intend for these to look so patriotic but it's quite fitting, seeing as how the Fourth of July is right around the corner.

Color Series Day 4: Cobalt Blue

And we've come to the end of Cobalt Blue for the color series!! Do you guys like this? Do you have any other colors you would like featured in a color series? Let me know!

Today's polishes aren't going to be comparisons for color closeness to Sally Hansen Pacific Blue but they are cobalt blue and just lovely. My middle and ring fingers have Sally Hansen Pacific Blue and the index and ring fingers have the polishes that are being compared. I don't know if all of these polishes are available so forgive me if they are discontinued! All swatches are shown with topcoat.

China Glaze Frostbite is a bright blue with blue shimmer. This was a little bit sheer on the first coat but built up to opacity on the second.

Liquid Sky Lacquer Freedom Blue is a dark royal blue holographic. This was 2 coats.

Too Fancy Lacquer Set Fire To The Rain is a gorgeous bright navy (is that a thing?) holographic. This is one coat, ya'll. Yep.

A England Spirit of the Moors is a gorgeous navy blue scattered holo. This was two perfect coats, as per usual from A England.

Great Lakes Lacquer The Fashion Artist is very close to Pacific Blue in color but obviously has a blue fleck throughout the polish. This took a bit longer to dry than some of the other polishes so definitely be patient in between coats.

And that's it. I actually have more polishes in this general shade range but they were either One and Done polishes or something else about the color made me think I shouldn't include it, lol. What can I say? I love cobalt blue!!!!

Essence Thelma with A England Princess Tears

I've had some of the Essence twins sitting on my desk FOREVERRRRRRRRRR and just haven't used them yet. I am running out of creme polishes to use under all of my glitters so I finally had to grab one! LOL

This is Thelma, a deep purple creme. I used 2 coats, no top coat.

With Flash:

Then, using a fan brush, I brushed A England Princess Tears over Thelma. Ohhhhh, pretty!

 Simple but fun, right?

Pink Wednesday: butter LONDON Disco Biscuit with A England And The Mondbeams...

Hey guys! Happy Pink Wednesday!

butter LONDON Disco Biscuit has been on my list for a long time and I finally picked it up a few months ago during a BL promo.

I used 3 thin coats of Disco Biscuit. It's what I would call a jelly. I love the blue shimmer in this!

I added one coat of A England And The Moonbeams because why not?

A England Swatches

Hey guys! Happy... Thursday? I think? LOL

How's about some A England spam for you?? Okay!

First up, Dragon, a breathtaking green holo. I should say right off the bat that I didn't have sunlight for any of these so the holo is not as awesome in these photos as it really can be. But this was one glorious coat! Gah!!! 

 Princess Sabra is a beautiful gold holo. Again, one coat!

 Camelot is a one coater black creme. So so shiny! 

Finally, Lancelot is a blackened red. It pretty much looks black most of the time but I don't even care because it still has a perfect formula.

Sally Hansen Commander in Chic with A England She Walks In Beauty

Hey guys!

Sally Hansen Commander In Chic is a purpley taupey grayish creme polish. That isn't a vague description at all, right? LOL This was a clearance find somewhere. I have so much glitter, I am trying to find cremes to go under them!

I used 3 coats here. This had a pretty decent formula. I used 3 coats because it was the tiniest bit streaky but nothing terrible. 

Then I added one coat of A England She Walks In Beauty, which is a beautiful gold and pink glitter. I quite liked it over the Sally Hansen.

 A few A England beauties to share today!

Avalon, a bright purple creme. As always with A England, this was pretty much perfection to apply. I could have used 1 coat, but I did two.

 Holy Grail (the old version). I love this color but I think it makes my hands look weird. Wah wah. It was a breeze to apply, however... 2 coats.

WHO DOESN'T LOVE GLITTER SPAMMMM??!?!? SPAM SPAM SPAM!! Okay, I may have either just gotten up from a nap or desperately need one. You decide.

So I'm not repeating myself, all of these are 1 coat over the basecoat. 

LA Girls Glitter Addict Inspire over Bettina Tulipani, pinky copper glitter.

Funky Fingers Mermaid Lagoon over Catrice Something that I Can't remember.... o.O. I LOVED this glitter over the dark teal color. So so pretty!

Nails Inc Princess Arcade over A England Avalon. 1 coat. 

LA Girls Glitter Addict Flash over A England Holy Grail. Copper glitter.

 LA Girls Glitter Addict Explosion over butter LONDON All Hail The Queen, silver glitter over the taupey base color.

March Untrieds: A England Ascalon and Cirque XX

Hey guys! So I totally forgot to post yesterday I was a little busy. We found out that we are expecting a baby girl! Yayyy!!! So much glitter!!!! :-) Everything looks fine and healthy and normal, so that is the biggest blessing.

Check out Sarah and Amanda's posts today! 

For this installment of March untrieds, you're looking at silver and holo goodness from A England and Cirque. There are a lot of pictures because I couldn't deny the beauty and had a very hard time deleting pictures. Sorry I'm not sorry.

First up, A England Ascalon, a dark gray linear holo. This was 2 lovely coats, as per usual with A England. Let's bask in it's beauty, shall we?

To make it even more holycrapwhatnailpolishisthat, I added 1 good coat of Cirque XX. Umm... okay. So I basically love XX like whoa. LOOK AT THAT HOLO GLITTER ERHMAHGERD!!!

If you don't own either of these, you just should. You just should.
