Sally Hansen Byte Blue & Let's Get Digi-tal

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose

Today I have a simple combination but one that I wore for several days, which is basically unheard of lately, lol.

Sally Hansen Byte Blue from the Miracle Gel line is basically my favorite color, but you all know this fact. Perfect in 2 coats and a great formula with not pooling or dragging. Shown with topcoat.

I added Let's Get Digi-tal, iridescent shifting topper. This primarily flashed pink over this color but over a darker color, I think you would be able to see some blue and green, as well.

Talk to you soon!

Pretty & Polished Green Thumb

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose
(I won this in an Instagram contest)

Today I have one of the polishes from the Pretty & Polished Dusty Cremes collection, Green Thumb. I actually won this in an Instagram contest, which was very nice and quite exciting!

This is a pretty grassy green and very accurately described as a dusty green. Great formula, opaque in two coats.

What's your favorite Pretty & Polished shade?

Twinsie Tuesday: Monochrome

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose

Today we are doing Monochromatic manicures and I'm not really sure if mine counts but I'm calling it monochromatic anyway.

I used 4 different China Glaze polishes for an ombrè dry brush mani. From ring finger to pinky:
- At Vase Value
- Aquadelic
- Treble Maker
- Gaga for Green

All were 2 coats, except for At Vase Value which was prettttyyyy tricky. I did three coats but it was kind of a mess: patchy, chalky, and didn't level very well. So my coats were very very thin. Such a gorgeous color though!

Then I reversed the colors for a dry brush so I used Gaga for Green on my index finger, Treble Maker on my middle, Aquadelic on my ring, and At Vase Value on my pinky. The colors didn't contrast as much as I would have liked but I guess that just makes this better for monochromatic, right? LOL

Nine Zero Roy G Biv Collection!

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose

Today I have the Nine Zero Lacquer Roy G Biv collection. This is a holo collection with a crelly, glitter, and a topper. So let's get to it! So I save a little bit of typing, I added topcoat to every swatch.

Refraction is a red holo. This is super bright red holographic! Like.. glowing bright. This was opaque in two coats.

Frequency is an orange holo. Another great formula, opaque in two coats!

Dispersion is a yellow holo and can I say HOLLLAAA!! I love yellow and they are rather difficult to formulate and this is just perfect. Opaque in 2 coats!

Spectrum is a green holo. Another great formula, opaque in two coats!

Wavelength is the blue, and obviously this is one of my favorites. I love this, and another perfect formula. 2 coats. AND I didn't have any staining with this one and I wore it for a few days!

Reflect is an indigo holographic. ANOTHER perfect formula, 2 coats.

Chromatic is a violet holographic. And can you guess the formula? Just about perfect, 2 coats.

Prism is a silver holographic microglitter with rainbow holographic glitter. This was technically not completely opaque in two coats but I only did two because the glitter is so holographic and sparkly that you couldn't see the small spots that weren't covered... except for the ring finger and in this picture, lol.

Double Rainbow is a white crelly with matte rainbow glitters. This was packed with glitter and super easy to apply. Opaque in two coats. Because there is so much glitter, this did need two coats of top coat to be completely smooth.

Kaleidoscope is a rainbow glitter topper and most normal people would put this over white so you can see all of the colors but I just really had it in my head to layer it over Spectrum. I should probably put a proper swatch of this up on instagram. Someone remind me to do that, lol!

So yeah, Jess is killing it as per usual. Her shop is on vacation mode right now but I highly recommend checking these out! Love love love!

Twinsie Tuesday: Tulips

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose

Tulips, tulips.. one of the beautiful signs of spring! I am carefully proclaiming that spring is finally here and here to stay! The weather lately has been gorgeous, the birds chirping, the sun shining, the clouds... not in sight! I am jubilant about these facts.

I decided to try the Tulip manicure that is not new and I just simply haven't ever tried. I started with two coats of Essie's Stones n' Roses and then used Essie In Stitches for the tulip part of the nails.

Round 23 of Bestie Twin Nails with The Little Canvas!

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose

You know what time it is: BESTIE TWIN NAILS TIME with Alaina from The Little Canvas. Guys. GUYS... we've been doing this feature for almost 2 years!! HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?!? Oh boy, I guess we need to do a giveaway at Round 24, eh? ;-) And lookie!! We have a fancy graphic, courtesy of Sarah from 25_Sweetpea! Thank you!!! We love pineapples.

For this BTN, we decided to do some cute little clouds, inspired by this blog post here. Usually, I would say because this is springtime but it's been snowing and gross here lately and is just now finally starting to resemble spring. Come on, buddy... you can do it! Just warm up and give me some sunshine!

For my base, I used two coats of Zoya's Rocky. I forgot I owned this polish until I was organizing in my helmer drawers last week and it's just so pretty. It's a bright blue but with a hint of gray to it.

Then I dotted some little clouds with Zoya's Purity and drew the little smiley faces on with Willa.

Aren't they cute??

Twinsie Tuesday: Gradient + Stamping

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose

Well the time has come for my least favorite of prompts: stamping. Ugghhhh I'm so bad at stamping. I thought about skipping this week but I don't have a good excuse for skipping this week, lol. So here I am. Trying.

I started with a few Nine Zero polishes from the new Roy G Biv collection. I used Dispersion (the yellow) and Frequency (orange) for my gradient. These were really easy to use in a gradient, they were opaque and covered well in about two gradient coats.

Then I used my Born Pretty Store stamping plate number BPL-029 and used the daisy image with my Wet n Wild Black Creme polish to attempt to stamp. Guys. IT CAME OUT PERFECTLY! I was completely shocked. I almost posted this the night I did the art because I just couldn't wait to tell anyone and I was just so excited! I realize this is a simple stamping look but it's basically amazing for me!

This gives me hope! I did you my clear stamper from Born Pretty Store and that DEFINITELY helped. I have to see what I'm doing! LOL

Also, even though I purchased the BPS items that I used, I do have a discount code for 10% off your order at bornprettystore.com with the code FEL91. This isn't an affiliate code, just a discount for you :)

Cirque Halcyon

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose

Today I have Cirque Halcyon, probably just the most amazing rose gold polish that's ever existed.

Uhmmmmm yeah. I don't even know what else to say about this because it's perfect, almost a one coater. I did two plus topcoat. So reflective and bright and rosy and beautiful!! I don't think this is available any longer which is unfortunate but if you ever come across this, seriously buy it! So gorgeous!

Check my instagram later today to see what I added on top of this to make it really ridiculous and extra fantastical!

Cirque Madder

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose

Cirque Madder is a gorgeous red holo. Now let me say this: this picture is not even doing this justice. It's such a bright, rich red in person! The formula was amazing, almost opaque in one coat but I did two to cover the tiniest bare spots.

<3 <3 <3 Oh my. So so gorgeous. Buy this! LOL!

Twinsie Tuesday: Glitter Placement

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose

Today we are doing Glitter placement, which I enjoy even though it's painstaking. So I took the easy way out and did little flowers.

I started with 2 coats of Orly's Snowcone, a beautiful cornflower blue creme.

Then I dotted Orly's Jealous Much? in a flower pattern and added circle gold holographic glitters in the center. I reversed this for my pinky and index fingers. Added some topcoat and there are some cutie little glitter placement flower dots.

The Treat Vox Box from Influenster!

Hey guys!

Press Sample

Today I have a different post for you: a review of my Treat Vox Box from Influenster!

This was sent to me through Influenster, which is a free website that anyone can use. All that is needed is some sort of social media platform to share your opinions on the boxes that you receive. I've received several vox boxes over the years and always enjoy trying out the products, beauty or otherwise!

This box is all about treats, for mom and baby. I have been sharing bits of my box on Instagram and Twitter so I will quickly review the items here :)

First, some Yum-V's, a probiotic contains an optimal dosage of probiotic for children, delivered in a delicious white chocolate flavor bear. I gave these to my toddler and she gobbled them right up. These are gluten free and non GMO, which is really awesome!

Next we have a coupon for $1 off a box of Yogi Tea. I purchased the Positive Energy tea which has a sweet tangerine flavor. I hadn't tried this flavor before but I really enjoy it! I do like Yogi Tea and was pretty happy to have a coupon for it.

The next thing in the box was a foil packet of Weleda Calendula Shampoo and Body wash. This smelled really really nice and was gentle on my little girl's skin. I don't know where I can purchase Weleda in stores around me but I would look into it, as we liked this shampoo!

The largest item in the box was a 4 pack of assorted Hills Bros Cappucino K Cups: French Vanilla, Salted Caramel, Double Mocha, and English Toffee. These were deeeeelicious!!! They have a mild flavor and aren't very strong but are perfect for a little afternoon pick me up!

Also included in the box were some single serve packets of Hills Bros English Toffee Cappuccino.

Lastly, a coupon for a free Country Crock Spread. I purchased the Country Churn variety and added this to my stuffing and casseroles and I really could taste the butter churn flavor. I was kind of surprised!

I have pictures of most of these items on my Instagram and a review will be up soon! :)
