Regulah light:

Wooooooo! is an off white crelly that glows in the dark! I used 2 coats.

The GITD shot is pretty awesome. This has a great glow to it! I was impressed! :-)

Wyldstyle is a black almost jelly with pink and blue micro glitters. I used 3 coats.

This Is My Jam is a silver metallic with holo glitter bits. I used two coats here and I liked this one more than I thought I would! LOL.

Barielle Gentle Breeze for Spring 2015

Hey guys!

Press Sample

Barielle presents the "Gentle Breeze collection, which reflects the soft, gentle, eclectic hues this most welcome and delightful season". I don't know about you, but I'm ready for spring! Bring on the brights and warmth! LOL

Heaven Sent is a soft aquamarine, aka the perfect mint blue color! This was 2 coats. This was one of my favorites!

Champagne Bubbles is described as a tangerine creme but my immediate thought when I was applying it was "peanut butter". I used three thin coats.

Pink Parasol is a soft strawberry pink, or a perfect bubblegum pink. This was 3 thin coats.

Gray Sky is a greige frost. I used 2 coats here.

Under The Sea is a scuba blue shimmer and it should be no surprise that I love this color! It covered in two easy coats. You might want to double up on base coat for this color, as it will stain a bit!

I will say the formula on all of these was about perfect, I did very very very minimal cleanup for all of the swatches.

What do you think of these colors? Do they say "spring" to you??

You can purchase Barielle nail polish at www.barielle.com.

SinfulColors Flirt With Hearts 2015

 Hey guys!

Press Sample

SinfulColors Flirt With Hearts collection is amorously appropriate for the biggest date night of the year or anytime you want to add a touch of flirty fun to your manicure.

24/7, a bright pink. I used 2 coats for this, but I would suggest waiting a bit before applying the second coat. This is a bright, but muted pink, if that makes sense!! It's not neon but it's brighter than it looks in the bottle.

GoGo Girl, a sleek candy apple red and a jelly! I used two coats, then I added a coat of Pinky Glitter and another coat of GoGo Girl to make a jelly sandwich.

It wasn't very visible in pictures, but more so in real life!

Daredevil, a neon pink with some blue shimmer. This was 3 thin coats.

Pinky Glitter, bright pink with a splash of sparkle. I layered one coat over 24/7 and GoGo Girl. You can see how it looks different over each polish. A great glitter to have in any collection!

You can find these polishes and more SinfulColors at Walgreens, Rite Aid and other mass retailers, retailing for $1.99.

I purchased Love Sprinkles, the newly released glitter polish from SinfulColors and layered one coat over Daredevil. I did have to fish out the hearts but it wasn't difficult.

Twinsie Tuesday: Recreate a Celebrity Manicure

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose

Today's Twinsie Tuesday Prompt was Recreate a manicure inspired by a celebrity. To be really honest..... I think most celebrity manicures are either dreadfully boring or completely bizarre. So I kind of made up what I thought I would like to see a celebrity wear as a manicure. Whoops. Don't kick me out, lol!

I started with 3 coats of Nicole by OPI Feeling Very Cherry. Yes, three coats. It was still a bit patchy after 2 coats. Not cool, bro.

Then I added 3 coats of NOPI Southern Charm from the Carrie Underwood collection. This was sheer but understandable so, as it is a nude.

Then I topped it off with a coat of Lips Are Dripping Honey, also from the Carrie Underwood Collection.

I quite liked this look, actually. It was different for me, I think. What do you think? Do you think this looks 'celebrity' enough?

Don't forget to check out the rest of the Twinsies celebrity inspired manicures!

Rimmel Mind The Gap, Victoria

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose

Today's polish is brought to you by Rimmel, via Walgreens, and then my wallet, ha. I saw a new Rimmel display a few weeks back and this periwinkle blue color just called out to me!

Mind The Gap, Victoria is a periwinkle blue creme polish and isn't it just so springy?? I love it! I used 2 coats.

I don't usually talk about wear time with polish because every polish is different on every person but this wore really well on me and usually polishes chip on me within a day. I wore this for 4 days with minimal chips! Color me impressed!!

Are you ready for spring colors??

NYC Smooth Skin Perfecting Primer Review

Hey guys!

Press Sample

The NYC Smooth Skin Perfecting Primer claims to even skin tone and minimize pores and lines while giving a luminous, natural complexion all day long.

At first glance, I thought this had straight up shimmer in it and I thought "nope, do not want this on my face!" so I tested it on my hand and was pleased to discover that even though it is a bit shimmery, it does leave a luminous finish on the skin and doesn't look like glitter.

The primer applies similar to a lotion, it does not have that silicone or powdery feel that some primers do. It definitely leaves a sheen to the face, but it is very minimal and looks natural and not like "whoa, her face is oily".

You can see the bottom half of my hand is more luminous than the top half. I did wear this for a whole day and didn't look shiny or greasy by the end of the day, which is always my greatest fear, lol!

What do you think? Have you tried this NYC Primer yet??

Twinsie Tuesday: Fandom

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose

Today's Twinsie Tuesday prompt is Fandom! I was kind of excited about this because I love fandom in general and when I think of fandom, I think super heroes. I love super heroes. Really, who doesn't love super heroes?? And if you are that person that doesn't... well, I just feel bad for you, lol!

So for this fandom post, I thought it was the perfect time to bring out my Fangirl Polishes that are based on the CW channel Arrow and Flash tv shows! This was the holiday trio that she released right around the time the CW showed the Flash and Arrow crossover episodes (which are also my favorite. Crossover episodes of any kind are my favorite!). I literally watched each episode 4 times the week they premiered.

I used two coats of Arrow on all my nails. Actually, it was three but that was because I did the base coat one night and touched it up the next night when I did the vinyls and glitter.

Then I used some lightning bolt vinyls that I won from Saira's giveaway a few months back. I'm not sure where the vinyls are from, sorry! And then applied two coats of Flash and promptly removed the nail vinyl.

I added two coats of Robin Laid An Egg which is a red, green, and gold glitter on the index and ring fingers. This polish is sold out and was LE, so it won't be back. Whoops.

To finish, I topped it off with my favorite HK Girl Top Coat. Anddddd I really love this. I showed my husband and he was like "cool". To which I replied "IT REPRESENTS THE CROSSOVER EPISODES!!" And then he told me I was a nerd. Whatever :-p I was clearly much more excited about this that he was, lol!!!

Be sure to check out the other Twinsies Fandom Manicures!

NYC 16 Hour Lip Stain and City Proof Lip Color Swatches

Hey guys!

Press Sample

The NYC 16 Hour Smooch Proof Lipstain has a marker applicator. The color of the package is the color of the product and I found that to be pretty consistent, at least with the one lipstain I tried.

The color I have is Never Ending Nude. Marker applicators are not my favorite and that is mainly because the applicator tickles when applying. Is that just me? Tell me I'm not alone in this feeling! LOL

As you can see, this is a very sheer color, which is okay because brown is not really a color I think I would wear if it were really opaque. This was several swipes of the marker to achieve this color. Also, this lip stain smelled sort of like cough medicine. I don't really mind that smell, as weird as that sounds, but I thought I would make you aware of that information!

NYC City Proof Lipsticks are chubby pencils that twist up. Twist up pencils are my favorite thing; why would anyone make a pencil that has to be sharpened, I do not know.

The packaging is pretty standard for chubby lip pencils. I do wish the lid clicked on more securely as it seems like it would come off easily if this pencil were thrown in your purse. However, I do love that the color is indicated by the tube.

The top swatch is multiple swipes of the chubby stick, the bottom swatch is one swipe. Again, very sheer and the crayon almost felt as if it were melting onto my skin as I was applying. The smell of this lip crayon is more like cherry than vanilla. It smells really good!

Have you tried either of these NYC lip products? What were your thoughts??

New! Milani Fierce Foil Eyeliners!

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose

Milani is quickly becoming one of my favorite drugstore brands! When I saw an end cap display with some new Fierce Foil Eyeliners and Foil polishes, I had to grab some to try! And of course I didn't save the packaging for both eyeliners. Guys, I was too excited!! LOL

There are 4 colors:
01 Black Gold Foil
02 Purple Foil
03 Brown Foil
04 Navy Foil

I bought the Black Gold and the Purple Foil!

The eyeliner claims:

  • Long Wearing
  • Rich, Intense, Metallic Foil Finish
  • Custom Designed Brush
I like that each package comes with a little brush and as far as I can tell, the glitter/foil is not an overspray, it is the entire product!

02 Purple Foil swatched lightly and then heavy handed

01 Black Gold Foil swatched lightly and then heavy handed

I love the purple eyeliner and I like the black but I wish the gold were more visible. At an angle, you can see the gold but straight on, it looks just like black.

These do appear to smudge after sitting for a while so I fear they will transfer. I will definitely be wearing these with a primer and I will report back on the Twitter and Instagram if there is transfer!

The eyeliners retail for $6.99 and are available online if you can't find them in stores!

Have you seen the new Milani displays yet? Did anything pique your interest??

OPI Good Grief

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose

A quick post today to show you OPI's Good Grief from the Peanuts collection that was released last fall. I found this polish at TJ Maxx for $3.99 and I'm glad I didn't pay more for it because the formula was pretty terrible and streaky. This was three coats and you can still see some patchiness on several fingers. Yuck. But it's a bright yellow color and I was feeling yellow!

Did you get this color or any from the Peanuts collection??
