China Glaze Fancy Pants with Paris Sparkles Cobalt Surprise

Hey guys!

This is Fancy Pants from China Glaze's spring Avant Garden collection. Fun fact about me: I add 'pants' to a lot of words.... one of my nicknames is even Amandapants. So obviously I needed this polish, not only because it's an awesome blurple shimmer, but because it's called Fancy Pants. Even if it were ugly, I still might have purchased it. Luckily, it's definitely not ugly.

This is two glorious coats of Fancy Pants. FANCY PANTS!

Then, sticking with my double accent nails, I added 2 coats of Paris Sparkles Cobalt Surprise over Fancy Pants.  I like typing Fancy Pants, can you tell??

I LOVED these together. Blue? Check? Glitter? Check? Ya know what that equals? Amandapants' favorite things.

China Glaze Keep Calm, Paint On with Paris Sparkles Wintermint

Hey guys! How was your weekend? Mine was fine; the weather was perfectly lovely on Saturday and warmer but spring rainy, which I don't mind at all :-)

Here's a quick recent NOTD that I wore featuring China Glaze Keep Calm, Paint On from the Avante Garden collection and an indie brand called Paris Sparkles.

I used two coats of Keep Calm, Paint On. This had a typical awesome formula from China Glaze. I am loving the mint trend right now!!

I added two coats of Wintermint on my middle and ring fingers. Mmmmm minty glitter?? Yessss.

Fun fact: i love mint flavored things. It's probably a good idea that these weren't scented! Haha!

Takko Lacquer Pucker Up with Maneki Neko

Hey guys! Happy Saturday! What are you up to today? I am enjoying this perfectly gorgeous day! SO MUCH SUN OHMYGOSH I LOVE IT! Anyway...

So after voraciously stalking Takko Lacquer's Etsy shop for several weeks, I FINALLY nabbed Pucker Up and Maneki Neko and holy moly are they gorgeous. I couldn't decide which to wear first so I wore both :-)

Pucker Up is a beautiful coral shimmer, I used 3 thin coats. Maneki Neko is a STUNNNNNNNING green microglitter. This was 3 coats. I think. It might have been 2. My notes are waayyyyyyy over on the other side of the room :-p Either way, I absolutely loved this combination.

Sation Unicorns are Teal Jelly Sandwich

Hey guys! Happy Friday! What are your plans for the weekend??

Who loves a jelly sandwich??? THIS GIRL! So hopefully you do too :-)

This is Sation Unicorns are Teal, a TEAL FREAKING JELLY ERHMAHGERD. I only have a few Sation's but I think I need more because I love them. And if they have more jellies... well yes, I definitely need those.

This was 2 coats of Unicorns are Teal. Also, that name. Dead from awesome.

Then I added 2 coats of Black Cat Lacquer Sanitation Twin because it's glitter and awesome and I wanted to.

Then one more coat of UaT.

JELLY!

Kiko Holo's!

Hey guys! It's Thursday! That means it's almost Friday! Hallelujah! :-)

I have a few Kiko holo's to show you. I received these forever ago from Saira and am super slow at wearing polish... sigh. Polish problems, right?

First, Kiko #402, a gorgeous vivid pink holo. All of the Kiko's I've ever used have just about perfect formula's and these were no different. No dragging, as is common with some holos. Love it! This is 2 coats, no top coat.

Kiko #401 is a stunning blue. This was the same as the pink holo: perfect 2 coats.

Which is your favorite?

Treasures By Tan Toy Soldier

Hey guys!

Today I have a new to me indie brand called Treasures by Tan. I'll have a post with several of her polishes later but for now, here's Toy Soldier, a yellow, blue, white, and black glitter mix with micro micro red glitter.

I believe I layered this over GOSH Holographic Hero. This is one coat of Toy Soldier. I was very pleased with the glitter payoff on this, no fishing required!

You can purchase Treasures by Tan on her Etsy shop.

Review: Incidental Twin Mini's

Hey guys!

Today I have a few polishes from Incidental Twin to share with you.

First, Shark House. This is a sheer gray polish with silver hex glitter. I used 3 coats here.

Next, Jess. This green polish is also sheer but has blue and yellow hex glitter. This is again 3 coats.

I had a third polish to show you from Incidental Twin, a topcoat,  but... I totes can't find the photos! Umm... Whoops.

Anyway, I like the colors of these polishes but I would definitely recommend layering them for better opacity!

You can purchase Incidental Twin polishes here on her Etsy site.

Sephora by OPI I'm So Sari

Hey guys!

Okay, one more Monday without a Pinterest manicure. I guess I need to come up with a blogging schedule! Good grief!!

This is 2 coats of SOPI I'm So Sari  over Julep Marion. I love tone on tone glitters. Well, I love all glitters, this we know... and maybe because this is blue, my favorite color, I love it even more!

GOSH Holographic Hero

Hey guys! What are you up to this weekend? Tomorrow is my birthday! I think we are probably going to go to dinner. And also, a new Meijer opens up near my town and that is very exciting to me, lol. I'm a simple person :-p

I have a lot of leftover holo swatches from last month's challenge, so I hope you guys like to see holographic polishes! :-)

GOSH recently re-released their super popular Holographic polish. I don't have the original so I can't compare the two but this version is Holographic Hero and it's a silver rainbow wonderland.

I used 2 easy coats.  I took these photos using my lamp so not as rainbowy as it was in person or as it would be in sunlight but you get the idea, right?

Do you have either of the GOSH Holographic polishes? Which do you prefer?

Sally Hansen Commander in Chic with A England She Walks In Beauty

Hey guys!

Sally Hansen Commander In Chic is a purpley taupey grayish creme polish. That isn't a vague description at all, right? LOL This was a clearance find somewhere. I have so much glitter, I am trying to find cremes to go under them!

I used 3 coats here. This had a pretty decent formula. I used 3 coats because it was the tiniest bit streaky but nothing terrible.

Then I added one coat of A England She Walks In Beauty, which is a beautiful gold and pink glitter. I quite liked it over the Sally Hansen.

What do you think of this combination?

Zoya Roxy with Paloma

Hey guys!

Zoya Roxy is a dark fuchsia glitter polish. This was 3 coats. It dried a little dull, so I had to zazz it up :-)

I added one coat of Zoya Paloma and voila! Much better!

Review: Born Pretty Store Rhinestone Studs

Hey guys!

Today I have a review from Born Pretty Store, featuring the 12 Colors 2mm Stud Rhinestone Acrylic UV Gel Nail art w/box.

Now, I am not great at nail art, but I do like to use studs and rhinestones from time to time.

I started with a base of Zoya Midori, a super pretty apple green with golden shimmer. I picked the rosey pink color studs to use with the green polish. I let the base color dry, then applied a coat of top coat, and using some tweezers, placed each stud on my nail one at a time. I did put about 3 layers of KBShimmer Clearly On Top coat.

These lasted much longer than I thought they would, they even lasted at work for a full day. And I am terribly hard on my nails at work, lol.
