Twinsie Tuesday: Inspired By A Song

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose Press Sample

For Twinsie Tuesday, we are sharing manicures inspired by a song. People... I am not good at this. I don't think I've ever heard a song and thought about how such and such nail polish would be a great companion to the song. So yeah. I was like wuttttt.... Oh! Nail Polish with song names! That's what I'll do.

I thought I owned OPI's Love. Angel. Music. Baby. but alas... it is nowhere to be found. So since I have to use the same brand for my manicures (guys, it's literally not even normal. I will not do a manicure with different brands.....) I grabbed OPI's You're So Outta Lime since it was an untried. This was 3 coats. The formula was okay, it was a bit thin for my liking.

Then, I slapped on some nail stickers from SinfulColors because in all honesty, I was killing two birds with one stone here. Shh, don't tell. ANYWAY.... then I used OPI's Super Bass shatter because I really kind of want to bring shatter back. Clearly, the shatter does not work over nail stickers, lolol!!

And yeah, my new candy (wuttt??) fancy camera really depicts how poorly I paint my nails, LOL! I PROMISE they look much better in person!!!

Go check out the other twinsies who probably have much better song manicures than I do....

Twinsie Tuesday: St. Patrick's Day

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose

Twinsie Tuesday for today is St. Patrick's Day so I busted out SinfulColors Shamrockin', a green and lime green glitter with white flower glitter. This was one coat but I did have to fish the flower glitters out. This was over Pop-Arazzi Sapphire Desire, and with top coat.

Review: SinfulColors Leather Luxe Polishes

Hey guys!

*These polishes were sent to me for free in exchange for my honest opinion*

I have two of the Sinful Colors Leather and Luxe polishes to show you today.

"The Leather Luxe collection features eight weather-warming shades with leather-inspired finished. The best part: they come in every popular base color so there's a leather-licious look for everyone." These are available exclusively at Walgreens this fall.

Cold Leather is an enchanting night sky blue. This was two coats. I am not entirely sure what's happening on the middle finger, to be honest. It didn't want to even out at all. I must have some wicked ridges on that nail? Since it applied perfectly fine on the other nails, I have to assume that error is on me. This dried fairly quickly.

Leather Loose is a safari sinful brown. 2 coats. This applied much nicer than Cold Leather.

I had to add topcoat to this to see that beautiful shimmer! So pretty!!

What do you guys think of these? I love the idea of matte nail polish and I enjoy it on others but I feel like it just looks strange on me. Maybe that's in my head? What do you think? Do you like plain matte polish? And I like the color of Cold Leather but much prefer Leather Loose as it applied better and it has that lovely shimmer!

Influenster Sunkissed VoxBox - SinfulShine In The Limelight

*Products were sent for my honest review*
Hey guys!

Influenster recently sent out their Sunkissed Vox Box and included in this box was a new product from Sinful Nail Polish, Sinful Shine, with Gel Tech.

The color I received was In The Limelight, a pretty grass green. I used 2 coats, with no top coat. Look at that shine!

The formula on this was pretty perfect, no pooling, dragging, etc. Love that!

I wore this for 3 days with very minimal tip wear. I only changed my polish because I tore a nail and wanted my hands to match, lol.

SinfulShine is available at Walgreens for a limited time, in 32 eye-popping shades! If you are a fan of the gel polishes, I would suggest checking these out. For $2.99, you can't go wrong!

Inspired by Pinterest: Sheep Nails!

Hey guys!

Today's post is... well, it's not good, lol. I saw the CUTEST sheep tutorial for some Sheep Nails and I had to try it. Of course, it turns out that the creator of this tutorial was Sarah from Chalkboard Nails, who's, I think, literally a nail art genius. She is so talented at freehand nail art, I don't know why I thought I could replicate this, but I went ahead and tried.

This is the tutorial she posted, which is extremely easy to follow. I, however, am completely dreadful at anything freehand... my handwriting is even terrible, lol.

Anyway, I followed her tutorial using the following colors:

Green: Cult Nails Feelin' Froggy
White: Zoya Purity
Black: Art Club black striper
Orange/Pink: Sinful Luminary
Gray: Zoya Dove

This was the result. They are not very.... cute, lol. BUT at least one of them kind of looks like a sheep, right? RIGHT?! LOL

The Lazy 15 Challenge: Disney Inspired

Hey guys!

Sorry today's post is so late! I was having blogger issues this morning and then ran some errands. So here is my super late challenge post!

The polishes used were:
Sinful Neptune (blue)
China Glaze Solar Power (yellow)
China Glaze Flirty Tankini (pink hearts)

I posted this picture on Instagram earlier and no one guessed the correct inspiration! LOL I think that means I failed!

I was inspired by this picture:

Beauty and the Beast is my favorite Disney movie but I cannot draw to save my life. I can barely write my name straight up and down, lol. So recreating this wasn't going to happen for me. I decided to do an accent nail in yellow for Belle's dress, and the blue nails were representing the Beast's jacket. And then obviously the hearts were from the background.

Sinful Christmas Polishes

Hey guys!

Today's polish brought to you by: Rite-Aid. I was walking through Rite-Aid looking for some sort of polish collection when I came upon a Sinful Christmas display. Several of the polishes were not new but as far as I can tell, these 4 babies are new.

Sinful Winter Wonder is a little bit thin, but I still managed with 2 coats.

Zoya FeiFei on index and ring, Sinful on middle and pinky.
Winter Wonder is a tad more blue than FeiFei, but they are definitely very close.

Dazzle is a fuchsia pink shimmer. This is 2 coats. To me, this isn't a very Christmas-y color but I'll take this over oodles and oodles of red :-p

Faceted is a blue, purple, and gold glitter, bar and micro. 1 coat over Dazzle.

Lastly, Super Star, a blue and purple microgliter in a blue base.  This looks very similar to the NOPI Kendall on the Katwalk polish; I'll have to try to remember to do a comparison!

I used 2 coats here. It was a little thick but with glitter like this, I almost prefer thick to thin.

Phew, Christmas polish already! I gotta say, I am not ready for winter!

Sinful Magnetic Polar Opposites

Hey guys!

If you follow me on Twitter, you've probably heard me bemoan magnetic polish and how it just doesn't work on me. Like, literally, it doesn't work. The magnetic design either doesn't stay or if it does stay for any length of time, it fades like whoa into nothingness. I've tried multiple brands, both inexpensive and expensive; it doesn't matter.

So when I saw Sinful's magnetic, I was like "nope, not gonna try it" but because I have no willpower, I bought one anyway. I'm crazy.

However, I was completely shocked when I tried it and it ACTUALLY WORKED!

I used one coat of Polar Opposites, let it dry, then another coat and immediately used the magnet. I was loving the blue shimmer that was pulling through! So pretty!

I'm pretty much over magnetic polish as a rule but at least I have one that works on me! LOL

Sinful Colors Spam

Hey guys! Happy Saturday! What is everyone up to today? I am going to run some errands and attempt to swatch swatch swatch! My 6th wedding anniversary is tomorrow, along with my niece's 1st birthday party (with a lady bug theme), and I'm thinking that I should try some lady buy nails :-) We'll see if that actually happens! LOL

I have a few Sinful colors to show you today. These were part of the $0.99 Walgreens sale from a few weeks back.

First, is Lavender. I believe this is a new color for Sinful. A dusty, gray purple creme polish. This had a nice formula, easy to apply. No pooling or dragging. 2 coats, no top coat.

I used Kleancolor Winter Wonderland over Rain Storm for my glitter topper.

Next is Rain Storm. This is definitely a new color. A lovely dark blue creme polish. I love love love this color blue. I might have an obsession with blue and glitter, to be honest. I have a hard time saying no to either.

Lac Attack Peacocky was a perfectly lovely glitter topper for this polish. Seriously, go buy some Lac Attack. Anastasia makes badass glitters and we're sparkle short twins. So yeah :-)

This is one coat of Peacocky.

YAY FOR GLITTER!

Sinful Colors Leap Flog

Hey guys!

Sinful colors... I don't even know where to begin describing the way they release collections and mix random new colors in with old colors. I do know that this is a new color, called Leap Flog and it's a lovely forest green color. I used two coats here. The application was very easy, no dragging or flooding.

I'm not sure if this is limited edition or not, but I know it's available now!

Pink Wednesday: Sinful Dream On: A Layering Smorgasbord!

Hey guys!

So this is post has lots of pictures in it! I was experimenting with layering and just kept adding layers, lol.

First off, 2 coats of Sinful Dream On... and who knew this was a matte?? I had no idea. Magenta matte polish!Call me dumb, but I didn't realize most/all neons are mattes!

Then one coat of Pure Ice Oh Baby!

Then, a layer of Sephora by OPI Electric Blue Blasted.

THEN one final layer of Essence Color and Go Space Queen.

I didn't have a plan for this when I started (as you can probably tell, lol) but I was experimenting with the colors and textures. It's not my favorite thing but I don't totally hate it :-) I will say that it looked better in person. The neon just doesn't look great on camera :-/

What do you think?
