Hey guys!
I didn't intend to do another manicure inspired by Pshiiit, but I was browsing my Pinterest boards and saw this manicure and it happened to be. So there :-p
I started with a base of Bondi New York Brick Road (review of that coming soon), then painted some white with OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, and finished with a custom Zoya FabFitFun! Topped it off with Wicked Fast and voila!
I think it kind of looks like flowers and I am very okay with that ;-)
Talk to you soon!

Inspired By... Simple Little Pleasures
Hey guys!
Today's post is inspired by a YouTube video that Sarah from Chalkboard Nails tweeted a few weeks back. If you know me at all, you know I have a love/hate relationship with water marbling. I absolutely love the look of it but I don't often pull off a successful water marble.
So when I saw this video, I literally gasped. It was beautiful. I had to try it.
I decided to try it using many of the same colors as Colette did because obviously that will make me better at water marbling :-p The only thing that I should have done was use a black base; I used a white base.
I used Color Club Beyond, Kismet, and Eternal Beauty. My toothpick drawing skills in the water marble are rather abysmal... that is probably the most challenging part for me, lol. But This turned out pretty well, at least for my usual marbling standards.
Definitely not as pretty as the manicure it was modeled after but I'm still calling it a success!
Go check out Amanda's blog to see what she came up with for this week's Pinterest Inspired Post!

Inspired By... Pshiiit.com
Hey guys!
Today's Inspired by manicure comes to you courtesy of Pshiiit.
I decided to use some different colors for my flowers and used some of my new OPI Euro Centrale polishes.
I started with a base of My Paprika Is Hotter Than Yours!, a bright red leading orange. I used 3 coats here, it was a bit streaky after 2.
Then, I used a plain ol' white polish to dot my flowers, and then OPI I Saw... U Saw... We Saw... Warsaw (which has to be the longest polish name ever) for the flower middles. Yeah I know flowers don't have blue middles but finger nails aren't naturally decorated, either :-p
And voila! Pretty simple. I smudged some of the dots due to impatience. Yeah. I'm lame.
I'll be back later with a Born Pretty Store Review!

Inspired By... Nail Polish??
Hey guys!
Today's Inspired post is sort of lame, lol. I didn't really get this from anywhere in particular, just kind of a combination of things I've seen.
I started with a base of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, then taped off some chevron designs on my ring finger. The glitter I used were China Glaze Pom Pom and butter LONDON West End Wonderland. Then I used my fan brush and brushed ChG Pom Pom on my index finger. The middle and pinky I painted one coat of the BL and ChG.
This last photo is with topcoat. It doesn't look as bumpy and gross as it does in these pictures, lol. And yes the green on my fingernails is from my striping tape. I always manage to mess up striping tape!

Inspired by... Pinterest - Interlocking Dots!
Hey guys!
Today's Inspired By... manicure comes from a tutorial that was pinned to Pinterest from MakeupBee.com. I have been seen a lot of interlocking dots lately and decided that I needed to try it!
First, I started with a base of Chick Flicker, a really lovely fuchsia pink. It's a tad brighter than it photographs here but I was in my basement with crappy lighting :-p I used two easy coats.
Then I taped off my nails at an angle and painted two coats of Cult Nails Tulum. After letting it dry, I went at the dots! I don't think my interlocking dots are as nice as they should be but I still liked this dotticure.
What do you think?

Inspired by Pinterest: Sheep Nails!
Hey guys!
Today's post is... well, it's not good, lol. I saw the CUTEST sheep tutorial for some Sheep Nails and I had to try it. Of course, it turns out that the creator of this tutorial was Sarah from Chalkboard Nails, who's, I think, literally a nail art genius. She is so talented at freehand nail art, I don't know why I thought I could replicate this, but I went ahead and tried.
This is the tutorial she posted, which is extremely easy to follow. I, however, am completely dreadful at anything freehand... my handwriting is even terrible, lol.
Anyway, I followed her tutorial using the following colors:
Green: Cult Nails Feelin' Froggy
White: Zoya Purity
Black: Art Club black striper
Orange/Pink: Sinful Luminary
Gray: Zoya Dove
This was the result. They are not very.... cute, lol. BUT at least one of them kind of looks like a sheep, right? RIGHT?! LOL
Check out the other bloggers posts!

Inspired By Pinterest: Fan Brush Nails
Hey guys!
Welcome to a new feature where I will be attemtping to recreate manicures that I've seen on Pinterest, Instagram, etc. This will be a weekly feature so if you would like to join in, please feel free to add your link to the InLinkz below!
Today's nails are actually from a pin that linked back to a profile on Makeup Alley. She has quite a few gorgeous manicures, but this pin was the one that caught my attention. I'm going to link to her profile, and you can view all of her pictures from there.
I loved the colors from the original mani so I didn't want to change them and tried to use colors that were as close to the original as possible. I needed something bright and fun for this dreary weather!
I used:
China Glaze Flirty Tankini for my index and pinky fingers
China Glaze White on White for the base coat on my middle and ring fingers
Then, using a fan brush, I brushed a thin swipe of China Glaze Orange You Hot?
Then, using the same technique, China Glaze Love's A Beach
Finally, China Glaze Sun-Kissed.
After a few minutes, I decided that this needed some China Glaze Fairy Dust, so I added a coat of that to the accent nails :-)
And voila! It's not the same as the original, but that's okay. I quite liked it! Check out the other bloggers who have joined with me to do this little experiment!
