Inspired by... Pinterest - Interlocking Dots!

Hey guys!

Today's Inspired By... manicure comes from a tutorial that was pinned to Pinterest from MakeupBee.com. I have been seen a lot of interlocking dots lately and decided that I needed to try it!

First, I started with a base of Chick Flicker, a really lovely fuchsia pink. It's a tad brighter than it photographs here but I was in my basement with crappy lighting :-p I used two easy coats.

Then I taped off my nails at an angle and painted two coats of Cult Nails Tulum. After letting it dry, I went at the dots! I don't think my interlocking dots are as nice as they should be but I still liked this dotticure.

What do you think?

Chick Moss with I Love Nail Polish Her Highness

Hey guys! It's Monday. Yay :-/ Oh well. The sun is shining so that helps me to think that it's not 30 degrees outside.. which it totally is, by the way.

Today I have a new Chick polish and a new to me brand called I Love Nail Polish. Let's check them out!

First, Chick Moss. This is a gorgeous mossy green color, perfect formula. No streaking, dragging, pooling... I just love that! I used 2 coats here, with no top coat.

Then I added 2 coats of ILNP Her Highness, a pink and gold glitter. My only complaint about this polish was it was a bit strong smelling, even though it is a 3Free polish.

Have you used either of these brands before? What did you think?

The Lazy 15: Inspired by Another Blogger

Hey guys!

Today is the last day of the Lazy 15 Challenge!  I made it! Whoohoo! LOL

This last challenge is Inspired by Another Blogger's post. I decided to use Lindsey at Neverland Nail Blog's fan brush technique.

I used Chick Rocker Chick and Hipster Chick over a base of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls. I pretty much did the exact technique that Lindsey showed so I'm not going to go into detail about what I did.

As you can see, I needed some practice.... but I really liked this and I liked these colors together!

Go check out the last day of the other Lazy 15 bloggers!
