Today I have a new to me indie that I have been lusting after for a long time! Blush Lacquer is a fairly new brand, about one year on the scene, and I've seriously wanted just about everything I've seen her release! I was so happy to see Victoria and her Blush Lacquers would be at Polish Con but even more excited when she posted an opportunity to win the Blush Beauties Facebook Group Custom polishes for swatching if you were attending Polish Con and I was one of three people who won the duo!
The first polish is called Oopsie Daisies and it a slightly green tinged yellow packed with green and gold/yellow flakies and also a pinky nude shimmer. This had a great formula and was opaque in 2 coats. I thought my nail was visible after two coats but it turns out that lovely pinky nude shimmer was playing tricks on me. I did do 3 coats here but the color and opacity didn't change, so you be good to go with 2!
Siren Swells is an oxidized green (I just saw the Statue of Liberty, this must be in my head! LOL) with golden shimmer and copper flakes. YOU GUYS. I am in love with this color. I don't have anything like either of these colors (which is saying something!) and I love them both but oh my gosh this one is just <3
I used 2 coats for this polish as well and the formula was outstanding.
These will be available for order on May 5, 2017. Since these are group customs, you do need to be a member of the group to purchase the group.
Talk to you soon!

Cirque Colors Swatches!
Hey guys!
Nothing To Disclose Affiliate Link
Today I have swatches of 4 Cirque Colors polishes! I received these in a Secret Santa gift at Christmas time and I didn't want to wait toooo long to wear these beauties! Let's get to the swatches!
Morganite is a beautiful peachy pink with holographic micro flakies. Ugh this is SO SO gorgeous in person. The holographic flakies catch the light beautifully. This was 2 coats! It had a great formula!
Garnet is a burgundy red with holographic flakies. Another fantastic formula on this polish and it covered completely in 2 coats.
Paraiba is a bright teal green with silver holographic flakies. This is STUNNING in person. Completely mesmerizing. Another amazing formula, opaque in 2 coats.
Tanzanite is an indigo with holographic flakes. Another gorgeous color, even more so in person and another great formula. This was 2 coats but it was so so close to being opaque in 1 coat.
So wow, if you haven't picked any of these polishes up yet, I highly suggest them. They were a pleasure to apply and gorgeous to wear!

Great Lakes Lacquer Leaves In The Lake
Hey guys!
Nothing To Disclose
As bummed as I was to miss out on attending Polish Con in Chicago in September, I have been able to get a few leftover exclusives here and there. I was so glad to be able to purchase the Great Lakes Lacquer polish, Leaves in the Lake.
This is a dark navy jelly with red, orange, green flakies. I used 3 coats here, plus topcoat. This picture does this polish no justice; it is sooooo much prettier in person! The flakies in the jelly really stand out!

Twinsie Tuesday: Inspired By Pantone 2016
Hey guys!
Nothing To Disclose
I'm going to be very honest: I hate the pantone colors this year. Pastels are not my thing, especially pastel pinks, lol. But I sucked it up and grabbed two lovely colors from Zoya and did a very simple gradient/flakie combination!
Zoya Brittany is a pale pink putty color in a satin finish, and Kristen is the pale blue creme. I did a vertical gradient with these and topped them with Zoya's Maisie. The colors in the flakie don't really show up these lighter colors but it is still pretty!

China Glaze Rebel Collection Fall 2016
Hey guys!
Nothing To Disclose
The China Glaze Fall 2016 collection is called Rebel and has some beauties to offer us. There are 12 polishes so I'm going to be short and sweet with this post.
Dope Taupe is a taupe creme. I like colors like this a lot lately. Maybe I'm getting old, lol. This was 2 coats.
Fresh Prince-es is a pale pink, which seems sort of odd in a fall collection but maybe that's part of the Rebel theme, ha. This was pretty thin and needed 3 coats.
Purple Fiction is a beautiful magenta shimmer. This was 2 perfectly lovely coats.
Teen Spirit is a midnight blurple glitter in a dark base. This was 2 coats with another nice formula.
Don't Mesh With Me over Teen Spirit, and Jagged Little Teal. Don't Mesh with Me is a blue and purple shimmer topper. 1 coat over Teen Spirit and 1 coat over Jagged Little Teal.
Ya'll Red-y For This is a glowy red with shimmer. This was sort of a surprise favorite but this was also just one coat!
Pearl Jammin' is definitely one of my favorites. This is a light blue with a fiery orange shimmer. You can use this as a topper or on its own, which I did here in 3 coats.
Holo At Ya Girl is meant to be a topper and I didn't quite realize that until I was 3 coats into this swatch lol. So it can be built up but even at 3 coats, this was not completely opaque.
Jagged Little Teal is a deep teal creme. Not terribly unique but I always love colors like this because I'm a sucker for blues. This was 2 coats, with a great formula.
Blue-Ya is a dark blue with green fleck shimmer. Another great formula, and 2 coats.
Heroine Chic is a charcoal gray with red micro shimmer. A bit thin and needed 3 coats.
Combat Blue-Ts. Oh. Mah. Gosh. This.. This is just amazing. A dark cobalt matte blue. This is one coat. Yes. One. Coat. The formula is a bit thick and you do need to work quickly to get even coverage but holy moly. I did add topcoat after this but I cannot seem to find that picture.... sooo... whoops. Trust me, it's gorgeous either way!
Did you pick any up from the China Glaze Rebel collection? What are your favorites?

Twinsie Tuesday: Holiday Manicure
Hey guys!
Nothing To Disclose
It's truly shocking to me that it is time for Christmas manicures already! What? How? Where did the year go?? SIGGGHHH!!! LOL
I went for super simple this year, using OPI The Spy Who Loved Me from the 007 collection. I forgot how lovely this polish is, with all of the orange shimmer! <3 This was two coats. Then I topped it with my the new to me OPI Pure 18K White Gold Flakie topcoat. Over the red, it looks gold rather than white gold, but I still love it. Topcoat and good to go, yo.
Do you have fabulous plans for Christmas? What are you going to do on your nails?

Twinsie Tuesday: Shimmer
Hey guys!
Nothing To Disclose
Today we are sharing a shimmer manicure with you, which seems pretty easy compared to some of the other prompts we've faced, lol. I decided to shared 4 polishes in a skittle manicure so let's take a looksie!
The polishes I used are from Baroness X and these are my first from this brand. I love the attention to detail and the cabachon with the polish color on the top of each lid, that must take a LOT of extra time and I appreciate the effort!
From Index to pinky, I used:
Maracaibo
Aphelandra
Tayabak
Ornith-Goliath
I used two coats of each, and three on the pinky (Ornith-Goliath). I like skittle manicures and after photographing and editing these pictures I realized... these are thermal polishes! I had no idea, lol! I'm not usually big on thermal polishes so that feature isn't a game changer for me and I didn't even notice they changed until a full day after applying, lol! All I saw when ordering was the shimmer and flakies and neon! LOL!!
Be sure to check out the other Twinsies shimmer manis!

Illamasqua Swatches
Hey guys!
Nothing To Disclose
I have some more Illamasqua polishes to share with you today! This is the rest of the batch that I purchased from Hautelook a while back. And wouldn't you know it, Illamasqua is on Hautelook again today, starting at 11am EST. (That link is my referral link, just FYI). So let's get to it.
Swinger is a gold foil polish. This had a nice formula, I used two coats.
Raindrops is one of the most famous Illamasqua polishes. I believe it was released and then discontinued and then brought back? I'm not certain. It's a nice blue toned gray with silver flakies. This was two coats.
Marquise is a orange toned red with gold foil shimmer. This is the sort of bright red orange color that I like and the shimmer is a bonus! 2 coats.
Peruzzi is a true yellow gold glitter, it almost looks green but in person, it was straight up yellow gold. I love this and it was one coat! Yep, you read that correctly. Opaque glitter in one coat. Huzzah!
You cannot purchase Illamasqua in the US, as far as I know, but they are on Hautelook every so often (ahem, TODAY!) and if you have a foreign polish friend who can grab them for you, I would recommend trying some!

Revlon Sultry and Gold Goddess
Hey guys!
Nothing To Disclose
Today's post brings you Revlon Sultry, one of their new polishes for the spring. This is obviously an Amanda color... look at the blue!! LOOK AT IT!! This was two coats, and it had a nice formula but it did have that "i'm a bright blue polish, so I'm gonna smell funky" smell. WHAT IS THAT?
Then I added one coat of Revlon Golden Goddess. I think this was LE, but I could be wrong. I can't keep track of all the LE polishes in Mount Polish, guys. I just can't :-p
I love blue and gold together, and not just because I'm from Michigan and like U of M (don't hate me, I actually don't care which team wins, they're both from Michigan!! I root for Michigan teams!)
Have you seen or tried either of these polishes??

Black Dahlia Lacquer Swatches and Review!
Hey guys!
Press Sample
I have two polishes from a brand new indie line to share with you today!
Black Dahlia Lacquer is a mother and daughter duo who recently released 3 collections: The Essentials Collection, Hanging on to Summer Collection, and the Fall 2014 Collection.
The bottles are very different from any bottle I've seen and their 'minis' are 8 ml oz, compared to average mini size of 5 ml oz. Full sized bottles are 14 ml.
The colors I was sent are both from the Fall 2014 collection. The formula on both polishes was good, thick enough but not goopy.
Japanese Painted Fern is a brown-tinged gray shimmer with purple flecks. The shimmer wasn't as evident on the nail except in certain lighting. This was 3 coats.
With flash.
Silver Willow is a silver blue holo with added violet shimmer. This was two coats. The bump on my index nail is on my nail, not the polish! Unfortunately the sun wasn't cooperating when I was swatching these so I had to use flash for the 'sun' shot.
With flash.
I really liked both of these polishes and have already ordered once from Black Dahlia and I see another order in the future, heehee!
You can purchase Black Dahlia lacquer here.

March Untrieds: Julep February Box (It GIrl)
Hey guys!
Better late than never with this Julep box, eh? For March, Sarah, Amanda and I are doing rainbow untrieds! So that means: holos, skittles, anything rainbow-y!
So I figured this was the perfect time to get my butt in gear and show you what was in my February Julep It Girl box!
First, Rebel, a silver holo. I don't know why I always pick up silver holos... I have like 100 of them... Anyway, this was 2 coats of Rebel. I didn't have any issues applying, and there was no dragging. Yay! Also, it was February in Michigan when I swatched these soo... yeah, no sun. Sorry.
Next is Joan, which isn't a holo but a berry colored polish with golden/orange flakies. This was again 2 coats.
Here is Joan with Julep's Freedom Polymer Topcoat.
Finally, Marion. Technically not a holo, but a very pretty dark teal with the slightest shimmer. 2 coats.
