Hey guys!
Press Sample
Yay a makeup Monday post! I have been slacking on these, I know. But I have one today so let's get to it.
I received 4 of the NYC HD Automatic Eyeliners to share with you. These are an extremely affordable drugstore eyeliner option and they have a smudger on the end to help smudge your eyeliner. AND the eyeliners work really well! Let's get to pictures!
In all of these pictures, the eyeliners are swatched without primer. The top swatch is one swipe and the bottom swatch is a few swipes to build up the color. These apply like a regular matte eyeliner.
Navy Blue
Deep Brown
Turquoise (this guy has glitter in it!)
Deep Purple
These were really easy to use and lasted throughout the day. I will say that I didn't care for the smudger, as it basically removed the eyeliner, instead of blending it. However, that did come in handy when I went a little haywire with one of my liner wings, lol. I just used the smudger to remove the mistake! Voila!
These eyeliners retail for $1.99 and are available at mass merchandisers nationwide. There is also a black color available!
Talk to you soon!

2b Colours Makeup Review!
Hey guys!
Press Sample
2B Colours sent me some of their makeup products to try out and I'm presenting you with my review today! You can purchase 2B Colours at Ulta.com and select Ulta stores. I've linking the items below to the Ulta website for your convenience (not affiliate links, yo!)
The My Eye Shadow Base is a balm-like consistency. For me, this product didn't work very well. I typically have slightly oily eyelids and this type of product didn't seem to set on my eyes. I used a Color Tattoo over this and my eyeshadow creased after only a few hours. Unfortunately, this will not be a product that I continue to use :-/
Black Cat Waterproof Eyeliner has a felt marker tip with a slightly flexible tip. This claims to be a waterproof eyeliner and while it is water resistant and I had no creasing or flaking, or fading, I don't know that it's waterproof as it removed very easily. It is a very black eyeliner, which is always a win. We know I'm not good at liquid eyeliner so I'm really excited for eyeliners that have felt tip applicators like this; it's Amanda-proof! LOL
The Primer Make-up Base is a lotion type primer. This is very thin, to the point that you don't need to squeeze the tube to get any lotion out, I just hold the tube over my hand and it comes out. That probably sounds odd but it's not a bad thing! This is a nice feeling primer, it left my skin feeling soft and moisturized.
The Hydrastick in Rose is a hydrating balm that comes in 3 colors. Since it's a balm, it's very very very sheer and pretty much doesn't show up on my lips but that's okay, as it's very moisturizing to wear.
Finally..... BLUE MASCARA! I'm not even going to pretend that I wasn't terrified by this, lol. I was a chicken and applied this over my black mascara and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't as bright as I was expecting! This mascara comes in 8 colors, so if colored mascara is your jam, 2B Colours has got you covered! And I really like the full bristle brush!
I would check out 2B Colours at your local Ulta or online. The items are affordable and aside from the eye primer and it not setting (which could have been due to my oily eyelids), I enjoyed using these products!

NYC City Proof 24 Hr Eye Crayons
Hey guys!
Press Sample
Fun fact: today is my birthday!! Whoo! Happy birthday to me! Haha.
Today I bring you a review of the new NYC City Proof 24hr Eyeshadow crayons. These claim to be waterproof and last for 24 hours. I'm not even going to pretend that I tested these for 24 hours, lol. I'm an old lady now, I never wear makeup for that long! :-p
There are 12 shades in the line and I have 8 to share with you! Let's get to it! These are a twist up crayon product with clear plastic lids. The lids click on so you know they won't get dislodged. As you can see, the color of the shadow is the color of the barrel.
I swatched all of these with no primer, and all the swatches are one swipe of color, with one exception. They are nicely pigmented!
Brooklyn Mocha, Murray Hill Champagne Rockefeller Center Snowflakes, Empire State Building.
New York At Night, Central Park Tulips (two swipes to build color), East River Romance, Madison Square Park.
These do set fairly quickly so I would recommend putting the color exactly where you want, as there is little time for blending.
For this look, I used Madison Square Park and some Milani eyeshadows:
- Milani Eye Primer
- NYC Madison Square Park
- Milani Bella Taupe
- Milani Bella Ivory
- Milani Belly Diamond
- Kat Von D Autograph Eyeliner
- Mally Volumizing Mascara
- Milani Coral Cove blush
- Milani Matte Naked lipstick
I love green eyeshadow so I very excited to see this beautiful green shadow stick in the press samples that I received! Upon swatching all of the colors, I am very happy with how they all look and cannot wait to use these for more looks! They will be great liners as well, for those days in the summer that I just want to do something quick but still have some color on my lids.
You can purchase NYC cosmetics at chain drugstores and mass merchandisers nationwide and these retail for $2.99 each (MSRP).

Maybelline The Blushed Nudes Eyeshadow Palette
Hey guys!
Nothing To Disclose
Maybelline just released a Blushed Nudes 12 shadow palette, exclusive to Walmart. I happened to be in Walmart a few days ago and saw this so I had to get it, of course! This obviously looks to be comparable to the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette but with a $9.98 price tag, much more affordable!
This palette comes with two sponge tip applicators.
Top row swatches, with no primer:
Bottom row swatches, with no primer.
I haven't had the chance to wear this yet but at first swatch, this palette seems to be a little better pigmented than the original Nudes palette, thankfully.
As far as I know, this is not limited edition but as I mentioned before, it is only available at Walmart.

Makeup Monday: ColourPop Lippie Stix
Hey guys!
Nothing To Disclose
Today I thought I would share with you my ColourPop Lippie Stix and Lippie Pencils collection! If you haven't heard of ColourPop, where have you been? Heehee, they are blowing up social media and from what I've experienced, they are totally worth the hype. I have a bunch of the Super Shock eye shadows and lippies and they recently introduced blushes and you can bet your booty that I will be ordering several of those, as well!
There are several great things about ColourPop: first, the price. The lippies, stix, and eyeshadows are only $5 each and the blushes are $8 each. These are very affordable prices and I am all for that. The lippies are in a twist up pen, which is always my favorite type of applicator. I also love that the applicator is a smaller, slimline stick rather than the typical lipstick bullet. I think this makes for much more precise application!
This isn't a sponsored post, ColourPop has no idea who I am but if you want to send me all of the things, ColourPop, I would not be unhappy with that decision :-p
I have 11 of the lippie stix, 3 lippie pencils, and the lip primer. So let's get to it, shall we?
There are 4 finishes for the Lippie Stix: Matte, Satin, Glossy, and Hyper Glossy. I have mainly matte and satin shades, with one glossy finish.
The Lippie Primer enhances the look of any lip color and helps to prolong the wear. I haven't worn this enough to testify if it does those things, but it does help to add a moisturizing step to the lip products, especially the matte lippies. I'm not going to swatch this because, well... it's clear and you would see nothing :-p
Button (Glossy) is a peachy coral shade. This was one of the first lippies that I bought! I do like this color but I prefer the matte and satin lippies so I don't reach for this one as much as I should.
Fancy (Satin) is a mid tone coral color. This is a new lippie to me and I haven't worn it yet! I did purchase the matching lipliner for this shade. I love this color; it's going to be so perfect this summer!
Frida (Satin) is a warm, mid tone pink. This shade was created by CoffeeBreakWithDani. This is one of my favorites colors; it's flattering on every skin tone and it goes with basically every look!
Lumiere (Matte) is a mauvey pink, created by the lovely Kathleen Lights. This is another of my favorites because it goes with everything! I have the matching lipliner for this color, as well.
Gossip (Satin) is a blue toned pink.
Wifey (Satin) is a bright lavender pink.
Heart On (Matte) is a cool toned magenta.
Flawless (Satin) is a deep red violet finish. The lipliner is a smidge darker for this lippie.
LBB (Matte) is a plum wine color.
Clique (Matte) is a vivid orange red. I haven't worn this yet but it's such a badass color, I just had to buy it!
Frenchie (Matte) is a neon red. I haven't worn this yet either but again... I had to have it!
So yeah, I'm a little addicted to ColourPop. They have great customer service, send cute little notes in your packages, everything is made in the USA and they are cruelty free. I mean... what more do you want??
Go check them out, you will thank me later:-)

Makeup Monday: Barielle Line Eraser
Hey guys!
Press Sample
Barielle is primarily known for nail polish but they recently released a new Facial Line Eraser. This can be used alone of under makeup for a flawless look.
Now, I do not have a ton of lines or wrinkles yet, but I am sure they are on the way and prevention or at least the knowledge of how to mask wrinkles is always beneficial, right?? This product can also be used as a makeup primer or sorts and that is how I used it.
I'm going to be really honest: I was a bit freaked out when I saw the syringe-like applicator. I quickly realized that was just for ease of application, should you choose to use it as a line eraser.
Once you open the box, and pull out the plastic "syringe", you will see two caps that need to be removed, the clear hard plastic cap and a more fitted rubber cap. I was pleased to see there is twist lock to prevent the product from being squeezed out of the syringe when not in use.
The line eraser is a concealer color, but blends out to a skin tone and is not visible and once it's rubbed into the skin, I couldn't feel it on my face. There is no smell to the line eraser, either. It felt like nothing once I rubbed it in, which is awesome! I do not like to feel a lot of stuff on my face, lol.
What do you think? I like this for it's lightweight feel. Like I said, I don't really have any lines to conceal so I cannot testify to it's effectiveness in that aspect, but I do like it as a face primer!
You can purchase the Barielle Line Eraser here. It retails for $30.
