Stardust Polish Wounded Warrior Project

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose

Today I have a polish that may or may not be available today, lol.

Stardust Polish Wounded Warrior Project is a sheer base with red and blue star glitter and red, silver, and blue micro glitter. For every sale of this polish, $3 was/will be (if it's still available) donated to the Wounded Warrior Project.

I layered one coat over OPI MBSW. I would recommend standing this polish upside down for a few minutes to allow all of those pretty stars to float to the top of the bottle neck. I didn't do that and had minimal fishing for stars but to make it even easier, just flip it upside down for a few before you apply. I also added topcoat.

If you like this polish, be sure to check out the shop, as it's only available through July 4th!

You can purchase Stardust Polish here. Be sure to follow her on Facebook and Instagram for sneak peeks are upcoming restocks and new releases! And if you liked this Stardust Polish, stay tuned next week for a special treat :)

Glitter Daze Daze of the Month Polishes

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose

GlitterDaze is one of my favorite indie brands and Sana has a monthly subscription service called Daze of the Month for $15 a month. These are the last three months of polishes, and there is usually a little extra of some sort included. There is a year long theme to the polishes, this year's theme is space... or something to do with space, lol.

First is Loose Lips Sink Mother Ships, a pink foil with holographic micro glitters. This was 2 easy coats, no topcoat.

Space Confetti is a white crelly with a whole bunch of different glitter shapes: triangle, hex, small hex in yellow, purple, light pink, blue, and orange. This was 2 coats, with topcoat.

Cosmic Fireworks is a red, blue, silver glittah bom with all sort of shapes: circle, star, shards, hexes, oh my! This was about 2 coats, with some blobbing around to even out the glitters. I also added one coat of topcoat.

You can shop GlitterDaze nail polish here.

Polish 'M and Painted Polish Land of the Free Duo

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose

So I'm going to be a total downer and show you a duo that you can't purchase any longer. Whoops. Sorry!!!

Polish 'M and Painted Polish by Lexi released a Land of the Free duo last month in celebration of Fourth of July.

Polish 'M American Spirit is a white crelly base with assorted shapes of red, white, blue, and gold hex glitters and some red and blue shimmer. It was a nice formula and it is packed with glitters so no fishing required. This was 2 coats with topcoat.

Life, Liberty & The Pursuit of Holo by Painted Polish is a red, white, and holo glitter. Uhmm yasss. This was really densely packed, as well. I used 3 coats plus topcoat.

These are definitely some super festive and beautiful nail polishes! Were you able to snag this duo??

Twinsie Tuesday: Splatter

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose

Today we are tackling the Splatter manicure. As simple as this sounds, I always have a bit of difficulty with this technique. However, I think I sort of figured out a way to do this technique that works for me so let's take a look!!

I started with a base of OPI Aloha from OPI and then splattered Skull and Glossbones and Chic from Ears to Tail. I topped it with My Voice is a Little Norse, which I sort of regretted because it made the manicure a little cloudy but oh well, lol.

I did add topcoat for this picture.

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Swatches and Review

Hey guys!

Press Sample

I have 4 Sally Hansen Miracle Gel polishes to share with you today! The Sally Hansen Miracle Gel polishes provide long lasting wear without the UV or LED lamp. Simply apply your Miracle Gel color and then the Miracle Gel top coat. The polish is cured by natural light!

Now, these claim to give 14 day wear. I'm going to be very honest guys: the thought of wearing the same color on my nails for 14 days sounds like torture to me so I did not test that claim but I can say that they held up better than most polishes do, at least on me. I constantly have polish chip or peel off after about a day, and these did not do that. I got about 4 days of wear before I just couldn't take it anymore and had to change the color!! LOL!

Also... I was sent 5 colors and took pictures of the first polish and I have no clue where they are. I cannot find them on my computer, phone, camera... I don't know. And since the color was simply a plain light pink, I didn't reswatch. Whoops. Hope you don't hate me.

Life's A Peach is a bright coral pink color, perfect for summer. This was 2 coats and it applied very easily.

Morning, Sunshine! is a nice creamy yellow. This polish was quite thin and streaky, typical of a yellow. I did 4 coats! Not my favorite, although the color is lovely and cheery.

Lip Palm is a leafy green. I used 2 coats.

Swimsical is described as the truest teal but I would call this a blue jelly. 3 coats.

These are fun colors for summer and if you are looking into a long wear polish, these worked well for me. You can purchase Sally Hansen polishes at chain drugstores and mass retailers nationwide.

Bestie Twin Nails with The Little Canvas + A Giveaway!

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose

Well folks, it's been a whole year since Alaina at The Little Canvas and I started our monthly Bestie Twin Nails series. I have really enjoyed these posts; it's getting me out of my comfort zone. Now we need to convince Alaina to branch out a bit and try some GLITTER PLACEMENT, AMIRIGHT?! :-p

For this look, we were inspired by Sensationails4U on Instagram. Alaina suggested we do butterflies because my daughter is not the best at saying "butterflies" and used to call them "guggafliesszzhhzh" (it was basically unintelligible, lol).

As always, I used the same brand for my manicure and grabbed some China Glaze polishes for the gradient: Fade Into Hue, Pack Lightly, and Lemon Fizz (purple, peach, yellow). I did an angled gradient and then added a coat of Fairy Dust and then drew my black butterfly lines with WnW Black Creme. The white dots are Salon Perfect Sugar Cube.

Now for the giveaway! There will be two winners, one from my blog and one from Alaina's! Prize number one is from Alaina and it's a mixture of Sally Hansen polishes.

Prize 2 is from me and consists of 2 KBShimmer holos, Men are from Marsala and Up & Cunning, both gorgeous holos. I'm also including an OPI Gwen Stefani 3 pack. You must be 18 years old, US only, and NO GIVEAWAY ACCOUNTS.

Potion Polish Dreaming Of The Islands Collection

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose

There's a new indie brand on the block and their name is Potion Polish! They opened in the beginning of June and I am pleased to say that I was their first sale! Whoo! LOL!

I bought the Dreaming of the Islands collection because 1) neon and 2) holo. So duh. There are 7 polishes in the collection so let's get to it. All of the polishes have a strong scattered holograph and were three coats with an easy formula.

Papaya Sunrise is peachy orange crelly.

This picture is a comparison of Papaya Sunrise (index and middle finger) and Electric Bikini (ring and pinky finger), as they are very similar. Unless you were buying the complete set, you probably wouldn't need both, although they are both lovely.

Electric Bikini is a red leaning coral crelly.

Beach Bunny Pink is a Barbie crelly.

Rainbow Orchid is an orchid purple jelly. This color was one of my favorites, it was 2 coats and so beautiful.

Sunlit Palms is a green crelly. I had to really adjust my camera settings for this so that's why my fingers look really orange, lol.

Sparkle Cay is a beautiful aqua jelly. This was another favorite; the color was just beautiful. This was a little sheer after two coats, as you can still see my nail line a bit.

Cerulean Skies is a cerulean blue jelly and let's just be honest: this is my favorite, as if you didn't know :-p This was 2 coats.

I am pretty impressed with this collection, especially for a first collection! The formula's were all very nice and I like that this is a neon collection without being just a neon collection, ya know? Not that I would ever complain about too many neons :-p.

You can check out Potion Polish on their website and follow them on Instagram for sneak peaks of upcoming collections!
