KBshimmer Holo Swatches, Part 2!

Clearly I was a good blogger and scheduled posts for this lovely Thanksgiving Day. I'm currently cooking up a storm :)

More KBShimmer holo swatches today! I know that it's probably not the most exciting thing to see older polishes swatched but I feel really great about swatching these untrieds!

Thistle Be The Day is a lilac holo. This was another beautiful formulated polish and covered in 2 coats.

Blue-d Lines is a pale blue holo, with crazy holo capabilities. This was 2 coats!

Up and Cunning is a gorgeous teal holo. This was 2 easy coats.

KBShimmer Holo Swatches!

I am continuing my KBShimmer untrieds and this week, I have some gorgeous holos to show you!

Run! It's The Coppers! Is a beautiful copper linear holograph. As per usual with KBShimmer, the formulas on all of these polishes were fantastic. This covered completely in 3 coats.

Rust No One is a rusty orangey red holo. This is 2 coats!

Kringle All The Way is an assorted red, green, silver glitter topper that was released a few years ago and the proceeds went to charity. And yep, it's been untried for that long. Sigh. This was one coat with a few of the larger glitters blobbed on.

Poppy Kisses is a bright red holo. This had an AMAZING formula and covered in two coats. I Love love love this red!

Fingerpaints I'm So Enameled By You

Hey guys!

A few weeks back, Sally Beauty Supply sent out a coupon offering a free Fingerpaints polish, with no purchase recquired so obviously I needed to go get a free polish, lol.

I picked out I'm So Enameled By You, a pink, gold, and holo hex glitter. I used it as a topper over KBShimmer Low and Be Bold. I used one coat and then blobbed a few extra glitters on, plus topcoat.

KBShimmer Crelly Swatches!

I have a few more KBShimmer untrieds today! These are the untried crellies in my helmer drawer.

Let's Sleigh Together is a nude gray crelly with blue, green, and white glitters. This was 3 coats plus topcoat.

Smoke Signal is a gray crelly with orange, red, and aqua glitters. This was 3 coats, plus topcoat. I love this odd color combination!

Funky Cold Patina is a turquoise crelly with blue, copper, and purple glitter. This was 3 coats, plus topcoat.

Merry Pinkmas is a blogger collab from a few years ago with Cristina from Let Them Have Polish. This is a pink crelly with green, pink, white, and lime green glitters. This was 3 coats plus topcoat. The crelly on this was a bit thin but all of the packed glitters recquired careful placement with each coat.

KBShimmer Glitter Swatches

I'm back with more KBShimmer untried swatches!

This next polish is probably my oldest untried, honestly. I've had this for years and for some reason it just get getting pushed to the back. But no more!

Band Geek is a charcoal jelly with gold, silver, and copper hex glitters. This is 3 coats plus topcoat. I think this is quite unique and definitely not like any other polish I own.

Too Pop To Handle is a magenta with purple glitter. This was 3 coats, plus topcoat.

KBShimmer Swatches

I was going through my helmers the other day and realized that I have sooooo many untrieds that are not new or possibly even still available for purchase. But I have to blog them so I hope no one minds!

I started with KBShimmer and I have two from that brand to share with you today. First is Sarong Place, Sarong Time, a beautiful orchid creme. This was 2 coats.

Low and Be Bold is a dark blue crelly. This was 3 coats.

KBShimmer can pretty much do no wrong in my experience. What are your favorite KBShimmer creme polishes?

Color Series Day 3: Cobalt Blue

Annnd I'm back with more cobalt blue polishes!

As I mentioned previously, my middle and ring fingers have Sally Hansen Pacific Blue and the index and ring fingers have the polishes that are being compared. I don't know if all of these polishes are available so forgive me if they are discontinued!

Orly Color Blast A Happy...Puddle. This is darker than PB, but has a nice formula; 2 coats, plus topcoat.

KBShimmer Low and Be Bold is a jelly formula and is clearly darker. This was 3 coats, plus topcoat.

China Glaze I Sea The Point is a bit darker but is close to PB. 2 easy coats plus topcoat.

Sonia Kashuk Roll With The Punches is another jelly polish, from the Spring 2016 collection. 3 coats, plus topcoat.

Finally for today, another way too dark polish, Essie's Bouncer It's Me. This is also a dark blue jelly and needed 3 coats, plus topcoat. 4 coats should have been used but I basically don't do 4 coats ever so I stopped at 3, ha.

KBShimmer Swatches!

Today I have a few polishes from KBShimmer to share with you. KBShimmer is one of my favorite indie brands (I actually am planning on doing an entire KBShimmer week soon because I have so many to share with you!). Another thing to mention: KBShimmer has the best punny names for their polishes. I seriously love them.

Fleece Navidad is light grey holographic polish. This had a fantastic formula and was opaque in 2 coats, plus topcoat.

For Fox Sake is a dusty red orange creme polish. This was another perfect 2 coat formula, plus topcoat.

Claws and Effect is a dark purple navy leaning holographic polish. 2 easy coats, plus topcoat.

Sun & Games is gold holographic polish packed with microfine gold glitters. This was 3 coats plus topcoat and this is sooo fabulous and amazing in person.

That's Ore Like It is one of 3 silver flake polishes released from the Summer 2015 collection. This is the Large silver flakie and it can be used as a topper or built up to opacity as I have done here. 3 coats, plus topcoat.

Kind of a Big Dill, also one of my favorite names ever, is a gorgeous forest green jelly with assorted size holo glitters. This was 2 coats (plus topcoat) but I probably should have done 3 for complete opacity but I really don't mind visible nail line. Love love this color!

So yeah. Basically KBShimmer is just about the most amazing indie ever (in my opinion). I am consistently impressed with the colors, themes, names, formula's, and customer service! So when I was offered the chance to review the newest KBShimmer polish, I almost cried out in excitement!! 

Men Are From Mars-ala is the KBShimmer representation of the Pantone Color Of The Year: Marsala. I used two coats and had minimal cleanup. The formula was stellar, as I've come to expect from KBShimmer. I personally love the Marsala color; I know some people are not thrilled with it but I think it is lovely and this polish definitely showcases that fact! 

And please pardon my little nub pinky nail. I had a nail disaster and broke my nail about halfway down the nail so I had to patch it and it has grown out a bunch but it finally broke off a few days ago. So a tiny nub I have, ha!

KBShimmer Anniversary Trio

Hey guys! 

KBShimmer is celebrating it's 6th anniversary with this brightly colored trio! 

Beach Please is a purple leaning pink and is SEARINGLY bright! This was two perfect coats of bright bright brightness. Super awesome and I love this! 

Shore Thing is a bright almost neon mint creme. This was two easy coats, as usually. I added some stars using some nail vinyls and Hexy Bikini, which is a textured holographic glitter rainbowy goodness!

I love this trio so much! You can purchase the polishes individually or as a set here.

KBShimmer Chick Me Out

Hey guys!

Today's polish is the beautiful KBShimmer Chick Me Out, a bright yellow creme! Ohhh I love yellow nail polish (or yellow anything, really), it's just so happy and cheerful!!

This was 3 coats of this beautiful creamy wonderfulness.

I know yellow is hit or miss for some people but it's definitely a hit for me! Do you love yellow polish like I do??
