Twinsie Tuesday: Inspired By Your Child/Pet

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose

Today we are doing manicures inspired by our children/pets, etc. If you follow me on Instagram or Snapchat (fashionfooting for both :p), you might have noticed that my 2 year old daughter is slightly obsessed with Disney's Cars movies. So I had to do something to recreate that on my nails!

I started with 2 coats of Zoya's Elisa, a glowy red.

Then I used a lightning bolt nail vinyl and used Zoya Darcy for the yellow. Not really completely indicative of Lightning McQueen but it's quite frankly all I had the energy for, lol. Also, the cut above my ring finger was a real pain in the butt while I was swatching and such.

Check out the other Twinsies posts to see what they were inspired by!

Charlies' Rad Lacquer Oopsie Neon

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose

Just a quick post today to show you this Oopsie Neon Orange from Charlie's Rad Lacquer. This is my first CRL, and was sent to my by my biffle, Amanda.

I am assuming this is a one off, as it's called Oopsie Neon, lol. This was 2 coats, and had a nice formula! The holo obviously isn't as noticeable inside as it would be outside but was more apparent than this picture is showing, lol.

Have you tried Charlie's Rad Lacquer before?? And more importantly, do you love orange holo? Because I do!!

Colores de Carol Fall Holos - My Picks!

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose

Today I have my picks from the Fall 2015 Colores De Carol collection! Let's just get to it, shall we?

Shale is a greenish, bronzeish holo with platinum microflakes. This was 2 coats plus topcoat. The formula was really really good. I would say thick but not at all difficult to work with!

Obsidian is black holo with the same platinum silver flakes. This was almost opaque in one coat but I used two to cover the tiniest bare spots, plus topcoat. Another great formula!

Granite is a silver holographic polish with platinum flakes and rainbow holographic microglitter. umm how sparkly and beautiful is this?! I used 3 coats but it was so so close to being opaque in 2 coats. I only used one coat of topcoat for this polish and it smoothed out nicely.

Have you tried Colores de Carol? She's been on a roll releasing collections lately and her brand is very quickly becoming one of my favorites! <3

Native War Paints Cozy Sweater Swatches

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose

I have the rest of the Native War Paints Cozy Sweater collection to show you today! Let's get to it! I will say that these all dry a bit matte so you'll want a topcoat to make them shine.

Cable Knit Sweater is a dark charcoal grey polish with gold shimmer. This was one coat, if you can believe that! Plus topcoat! The formula was very nice, super easy to apply!

Cashmere Sweater is berry pink with gold shimmer. This was 2 coats, plus topcoat. Again, another nice formula.

My Favorite Sweater HDF (Holo, Duochrome, Flakie) is a teal holo with green flakies and gold shimmer. 2 coats, plus topcoat.

I think my favorite is My Favorite Sweater; the added flakies are just so pretty in the teal base!

Cult Cosmetics Boneyard

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose

This polish came in the October BoxyCharm. I've seen a lot of swatches of Cult Cosmetics but this is my first polish from the brand!

Boneyard is a dark gray creme. This was two coats, plus topcoat. The formula was good, no pooling or streaking of any sort.

Have you tried Cult Cosmetics before? What are your favorite colors from the brand?

Twinsie Tuesday: Favorite Movie

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose

Today we are discussing our favorite movies. I have lots of favorite movies so I wasn't really sure what to pick and had to pinterest search for some of the movies I was thinking about and then I realized that I only needed to search for one movie: Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken. I love this movie and have seen it about 100 times. This is based on a true story of Sonora Webster, and takes place during the Depression. Sonora's dream is to make it to Atlantic City, "where all your dreams come true". Long story short, she ends up becoming a High Diving Girl, which used horses and riders to dive off a tall platform into a giant pool of water, through her basically crazy stubborn attitude and perseverance. And then more things happen but I won't spoil the movie.

ANYWAY.... I decided to draw a horse!

BAHAHAHH! Just kidding. OMG can you imagine? I can't even fathom how that would turn out, lmao!!!

Okay so really I drew inspiration from the giant tub that the horses and riders dove into for my manicure.

For the white, my pal My Boyfriend Scales Walls was applied, and then I used some nail vinyls in the hopes that my lines would be supah straight and OPI's Incognito In Sausalito. Well, the intention was for the lines to be super straight but whatever. LOL

PUR Cosmetics Eye Polishes - Swatches and Review!

Hey guys!

Press Sample

I have swatches of the new PUR Cosmetics Eye Polishes! These have an all-in-one formula that act as a primer and shadow in one. Each eye polish comes with a silicone applicator to help apply color evenly, while minimizing excess.

The shadows come in 6 shades: Caviar, Velvet, Silk, Cashmere, Satin, and Suede. Let's look at some swatches and I have a few Face of the Day pictures to show you at the end!

Caviar is an olive green with gold shimmer.

Velvet is a beautiful plum with fuchsia shimmer.

Silk is an apricot with champagne shimmer.

Cashmere is a champagne pearl. This eye polish had a thinner consistency than the other colors when it was swatched but it applied just fine when applying to the eyelid.

Satin is a pale pink pearl.

Suede is a bronze pearl.

I used all of these and really enjoyed them! The texture was different, sort of like a whipped, thin mousse-y consistency. I was worried they would be really wet and take forever to dry but that was not the case! They applied smoothly and evening and were blendable but also didn't feel wet.

This is look using Velvet:

And here is Caviar.

Have you tried the Pur Cosmetics Eye Polishes yet? What do you think??

These retail for $26 each. Pur Cosmetics is available at Ulta or via their website.
