Cirque Erda & Helios

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose

This was my St. Patrick's Day manicure but it was so pretty that I wanted to share it on the blog too.

2 coats of Cirque Erdas, which is a stunningly gorgeous bright green and I'm just like asdkbakfljbaldfkbadflkabdfaaaaaa over it. Love love love.

I added one layer of Helios, a gold holographic microglitter. Lurve it!

OPI This Color's Making Waves

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose

This is the only color I purchased from the OPI Hawaii collection. It's a different color, shifting from blue to green, and also looks sort of metallic and not so metallic at times, lol. Great description, right? :-p

This was 3 thin coats, no top coat.

Did you buy any from the Hawaii collection? What were your favorites?

Twinsie Tuesday: Seasonal Opposite

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose

For Seasonal Opposite, I immediately thought "brown" because that's more of a fall color to me for polish. So I busted out Zoya Emilia, Chanelle, and Sunny for a simple dotticure.

Simple, but definitely seasonal opposite, right?!

Go look at the other twinsies posts! :-)

Jelly Galaxy Nails

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose

I was trying to recreate this look from Nails Redesigned. Her design was more of a "party on her nails", as she put it and mine is more of a galaxy but that's okay.

I started with a base of 2 coats using Bonita Colors Royal Wishes and I'm going to be super dramatic here and say "this color is so pretty, I could die". But come on, IS THIS NOT AN AMANDA COLOR?! It's perfect. I ALMOST didn't want to continue with my nail art plans, lol.

Then I added a coat of Black Dahlia Lacquer Sparklefest, a beautiful silver holographic glitter.

You guys.... then something crazy happened. In a completely random order, I swiped a little bit of Rica:
- Squishy Strawberry
- Squishy Plum
- Squishy Lemon
- Squishy Tangerine
- Squishy Grape
- Squishy Blueberry

on various nails until I sort of got a design I liked. Then I added a top coat and called it good. I quite liked this, even if it didn't come out the way I was planning.

Whatcha think? I'm kind of in love with these jelly manicures I keep seeing and definitely want to try some more!

Barielle Glitter Mania Collection for Spring 2015

Hey guys!

Press Sample

I have one of the two new Barielle Glitter collections for Spring!! Yes! Barielle is doing glitter! I feel like this was an area that they were lacking selection and I'm so happy they have two new collections to choose from.

Princess Pink is a sparkly pink hex glitter. This was pretty densely packed and I used one coat over Illamasqua Jo'Mina.

Gemstones is a blue and purple and silver glitter polish. This was also fairly densely packed and I used one coat of Illamasqua Collide.

Orange Flame is an orange hex glitter. Again, densely packed and one coat over Illamasqua Poke.

Mermaid's Fin is a beautiful aqua glitter with tiny holographic glitters scattered throughout. One coat over Illamasqua Cameo.

And finally, Confetti is a black, pink, light blue, peach matte hex glitter. I loved this one and while it wasn't as dense as the other glitters, it applied nicely in one and a half coats over Illamasqua Rare. I personally loved the combination of the neon yellow with the matte glitters!

This is a fun collection from Barielle and as I mentioned before, I am excited to see some glitters from Barielle!

You can purchase Barielle polish on their website here.

Jior Couture Swatches

Hey guys!

Press Sample

I have two polishes to share with you from Jior Couture today! This is a newer to me brand, but I've been seeing a bunch of pictures on Instagram and have been loving the colors I've seen!!

March 2015 is a sage green with golden shimmer and gold hex glitter. This has a nice formula, I used two coats. This polish dries a little bit matte, so I added a top coat for the second photo.

090 is a beautiful dusty lavender purple with a linear holo. This also had a very nice formula, I used 3 thin coats.

The first picture is in natural light:

The last picture is with flash:

I love these colors and the formula on both of the polishes was pretty great! Check out Jior Couture's website to view the rest of their lovely polishes!
