Jelly Galaxy Nails

I was trying to recreate this look from Nails Redesigned. Her design was more of a "party on her nails", as she put it and mine is more of a galaxy but that's okay.

I started with a base of 2 coats using Bonita Colors Royal Wishes and I'm going to be super dramatic here and say "this color is so pretty, I could die". But come on, IS THIS NOT AN AMANDA COLOR?! It's perfect. I ALMOST didn't want to continue with my nail art plans, lol.

Then I added a coat of Black Dahlia Lacquer Sparklefest, a beautiful silver holographic glitter.

You guys.... then something crazy happened. In a completely random order, I swiped a little bit of Rica:
- Squishy Strawberry
- Squishy Plum
- Squishy Lemon
- Squishy Tangerine
- Squishy Grape
- Squishy Blueberry

on various nails until I sort of got a design I liked. Then I added a top coat and called it good. I quite liked this, even if it didn't come out the way I was planning.

Whatcha think? I'm kind of in love with these jelly manicures I keep seeing and definitely want to try some more!

The Lazy 15 Challenge: Galaxy Nails

Hey guys! Oh Monday. You are lame. Sigh. Anyway!

Today's challenge is Galaxy nails. This is another manicure that has always scared me, for some reason. I'm a wimp, lol.

I started with a base of Zoya Indigo, a gorgeous glowy blue. Two perfect Zoya coats.

Then I sponged on some white, and then Sinful Kissy, OPI Greece Just Blue Me Away, Pure Ice No Means No and then topped it off with a coat of Essence Julia.

I quite liked these! What do you think?
