Hey guys!
How are you? I felt like I was going to be failing miserably at this month's challenge again but something kicked me in the buns towards the end of the month and I manager 8 manicures. Which doesn't sound like a lot but it's better than I've done in the past! LOL
The first manicure I did was using Nails Inc Kensington High Street with Nails Inc Baker Street and Deborah Lippman Va Va Voom on the middle two fingers.
Next was OPI's La Paz-itively Hot. I forget about this color and it's so pretty!
Cupcake Polish Life's A Beach. Guys. NEON BLUE HOLO! /dead.
Next, a teal skittle mani using:
ILNP Sniffany on the index and pinky and OPI Love. Angel. Music. Baby for the dots
Pipe Dream Polish Hello, Earthling on the thumb and middle
Essie Naughty Nautical on the ring finger with Lac Attack Imagine. Circle Glitters!
Next, I was feeling gradienty, so I busted out this bad boy with my Maybelline Bleached Neons (Bleached in Peach and Day Glow Teal), and a glitter from Northern Star Polish called Neon Chic. You guys on instagram loved this one :-)
I was still feeling the gradient vibe so I used ILNP Charmingly Purple and AC Slater for this purple to black smoky gradient.
And more ILNP for my first saran wrap mani! Under the Bleachers and Cupcake Polish She Wears Short Shorts. So fun! Reminiscent of crackle, but not as obnoxious.
And finally, some nail art! I used my buddy Alaina's tutorial for these super cute pansies!
Revlon Spanish Moss
LynBDesigns The Credible Hulk
OPI Can't Let Go
CarpeNoctem Pimp My Purple
Love Angeline Operation Sun
So I didn't really stick to the drawer (OPI) that I was supposed to this month but my untrieds bin has turned into a bin, a box, and a basket so I need to use those guys! I am purging as I go, don't worry :-)
What did you think of May's manicures??
Talk to you soon!

April Operation: Helmer Results!
Hey guys!
I think I got confused with this month's brand... the first half was China Glaze and the second half was Zoya! LOL I think I was supposed to do Zoya all month. Whoops. Oh well!
The first manicure I did was using China Glaze Thistle Do Nicely with Lumina Lacquer Mucking Rainbow. Let me just say that Thistle Do Nicely is much brighter in person.. it is searingly bright! It made my pale hands look super tan, lol! The formula was a bit thin, I should have done 3 coats but it was 10pm and I wanted to go to bed so I just did 2 coats.
Next was NOPI Goodbye Shoes and China Glaze What A Pansy with LynBDesigns Tear Away Face and Liquid Afterglow Lacquer Frog Charm.
After that, I decided that I needed to do a rainbow manicure so I used
Purity
Pippa
Thandie
LC
Caitlin
Demi
Rocky
Wednesday
Evvie
Tao
with Glimmer over all the colors.
And finally, a purple ombre manicure, using:
Megan
Lotus
Aurora (also on thumb)
Mimi
So, not a smashing success this month but better than I did in March! LOL
Next month is OPI and my untrieds bin!

March Operation: Helmer Results!
Hey guys!
How is everyone today? I'm here with March's O:H results. Let me just say that March was a complete fail for me in this challenge. I just did not have time to do my nails. The baby is mobile now so I'm chasing after her all day long, lol. But I managed to get 3 manicures in... for the whole month! Ack!
First, I used Revlon Tantalize, a pretty green foil-y polish. The color is lovely but I wish this were more opaque. I used 3 coats here.
Next, I did a pink ombre manicure, using 10 different polishes!
Pinky to Thumb:
Zoya Lux
Orly Rage
Pretty & Polished Liquid Gold
ILNP Cutie Pop
Sally Hansen Satin Glam Chic Pink
Thumb to Pinky:
NOPI Some Hearts
Lavish Polish Cuppy Cake
Revlon Parfumerie African Tea Rose
Barry M Pomegranate
Liquid Sky Lacquer Raspberry Dawn
Finally, I did manage to use all China Glaze polishes for my last manicure of the month:
Budding Romance
Black Diamond
All Wrapped Up
Silver Lining
I wasn't sure how I felt about Budding Romance but I quite liked it with the blue!
So yeah, I majorly failed this month!
April's Helmer Drawer is Zoya and my untrieds bin, so hopefully I will be a little more on the ball this month! Although, we're 5 days in and I have yet to paint my nails. Sigh.
Did you use any untrieds in March?
Talk to you soon!

Operation: Helmer - January's Results!
Hey guys!
For January, I was going to be focusing on using my first China Glaze drawer. I managed to do about 5 manicures this month, which is so sad when you think that I used to do my nails almost every day! Life as a mom, I tell ya :-p
Here are the manicures that I did in January:
So in total, I used 18 China Glaze polishes this month. Maybe it's cheating to do ombre's but I'm thinking that how a lot of my manicures are going to be, as I just don't have as much time to do my nails as I used to. Oh well. I think this was pretty successful, don't you?
Tomorrow, I will be posting the contest of February's drawer and asking for suggestions as to what polishes you most want to see for February!
What do you think? Did you use any of your untrieds or not as loved polishes this month?
Talk to you soon!
