Nicole by OPI My Jay Or The Highway with Confetti Fun

Hey Guys!

Today is supposed to be Pinterest Inspiration day but I am losing my mind and forgetful as all get out lately so... whoops. I think I'm losing a little bit of my blogging mojo...I have loads of pictures to edit and upload, but I'm having a hard time finding the motivation. So stick with me, ya'll!

If you hadn't noticed, I'm on a Show You Two Polishes for the Price of One kick lately and it continues today.

I grabbed NOPI My Jay Or The Highway from the Modern Family collection since I have almost zero nude/neutral polishes like this.

It had a decent formula, no streaking or dragging. This was two coats.

Then I added one coat of Confetti Fun from the Selena Gomez NOPI collection. Ummm, yeah. I needed this like I need a hole in the head but come on, I'm not going to say no to glitter, much less RAINBOW glitter! AND THERE IS THE BEST SHIMMER IN THERE! So yes, I needed it. Don't judge me.

KBShimmer Bejeweled

Hey Guys!

Any big plans for the weekend? I'm going to see Bob Seger tonight with my mom. It should be fun; she hasn't seen in him forever and I never have. Gotta love the Seger!

Do you even know how long I've wanted KBShimmer Bejeweled? I don't either. Forever. Also, I always type it incorrectly. Fun fact.

Anywhoo, I used 2 coats of Bejeweled, this gorgeous purple, copper, and teal glitter over one coat of WnW Black Creme.

Review: Bondi New York Brick Road

Hey guys!

*Product sent for review*

If you haven't seen Bondi New York swatches lately.... well, you haven't been paying very much attention to your blogs! :-p

Bondi is a new nail polish company that is 5 Free and Nearly Natural. It's also an American made product!

They were nice enough to send me a bottle to review and I had to choose this bright yellow!

Brick Road is a bright yellow creme. It has a tinge of orange in it. The best way to describe it is pollen yellow, I think, lol!

I used 3 coats here, with no undies and no top coat. It was the tiniest bit streaky after the second coat, but that's pretty standard for a yellow. Other than the slight streaks, it was very easy to apply and I didn't have any application issues or cuticle pooling. (The dent on my middle finger is my nail, not from the polish).

With Flash:

Do you like yellow polishes? I personally love yellows and I always want more. It's such a bright and cheery color!

You can shop Bondi New York here.

Quarterly Empties

Hey guys!

I know this is supposed to be a Challenge post but I'm very lazy and haven't edited or uploaded those pictures yet. So maybe you'll see that post on Thursday, lol.

So this is my first Empties Post. I love seeing what other people are using and while I'm not the most exciting user of products (nor do I use enough to do a monthly post), I thought it would be fun to do a quarterly empties post. Let's see if I remember to do this again in 3 months, haha! I'll try really hard to come up with a post next month :-p

First, the overview.... see, not a lot of stuff for 3 months worth! LOL

Beauty Secrets Acetone: Clearly, I use a lot of nail polish remover and I like this one from Sally Beauty Supply. It has a slight scent to it.. just enough to cut the acetone smell so it's not completely unbearable. I'll definitely be buying more. I've been avoiding Sally's so I won't buy ALL THE POLISH!

Bath & Body Works Aqua Blossom Foaming  Hand Soap: One of my favorite soap scents. I love the foaming soaps from BBW... so nice! This is a scent I frequently purchase.

L'Oreal Telescopic Carbon Black Mascara: I am always trying new drugstore mascara because what woman isn't in search of the perfect eyelashes? I've not found a lot of mascara's that actually do what they claim. Maybe I'm too dumb to notice but they all just seem to be pretty standard to me. I did notice that this didn't clump and that is always a plus. I might repurchase, if it's on sale. Otherwise, nothing I would run out to grab.

Degree NaturEffects Honeysuckle: Deodorant is another thing I am constantly change up. I'll probably buy this again at some point, mainly because I loved the scent, but I'm currently using a different brand/product.

Qtica Cool Sugar Scrub: This smells totally and completely amazing with a delicious fresh cool mint smell and I would definitely repurchase it EXCEPT that it was very difficult to squeeze out of the tube. Like, I had to use both hands to squeeze the container. Even taking the cap off didn't help. Soooo... unless it comes in a tub or they change the cap, I probably wouldn't buy this again.

Bath & Body Works Pomegranate Citrus Scrub: This smelled wonderful, very fresh and fruity. And a nice wide mouth/cap! I'd probably re-purchase this. It's a very nice summer scent.

Pantene Moisture Mist Detangler: This is one of my favorite products that I use every single day. I have very fine but thick hair and even though I condition in the shower, I need this to help me brush the tangles out of my hair! I always re-buy this.

Tucker Hill Designs Bubble Bath in Chamomile and Lavender: First off, I love the ease of use for this product. One envelope is a bath serving (serving?) and while that sounds stupid to say 'ease of use' for bubble bath... it's simple, lol. This had a nice scent and provided plenty of bubbles. I like bubbles.

Antoinette's Bath House Bubble Bath Cake in Bad Romance and Lilac Ginger Fizz: First of all, go here and look at how beautiful this bath cake is...IT'S BLUE AND GLITTERY! Second, it's smelled wonderful. I'm a floral person, no doubt, and this was right up my alley. AND it didn't leave me or my tub glittery, although I was a little bit hoping that it would :-/

Both of those bubble cakes provided plenty of bubbles and felt very moisturizing. Ahhhh... I love taking a nice bubble bath.

I've used plenty of other bath bombs/bubble cakes but they either didn't have packaging that I wanted to save or I forgot and threw it away, lol. I'll try to be better for next time :-)

Do you guys like to see these kinds of posts? What are some of the products that you are using up and would recommend??

Inspired By...Pinterest

Hey guys!

I didn't intend to do another manicure inspired by Pshiiit, but I was browsing my Pinterest boards and saw this manicure and it happened to be. So there :-p

I started with a base of Bondi New York Brick Road (review of that coming soon), then painted some white with OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, and finished with a custom Zoya FabFitFun! Topped it off with Wicked Fast and voila!

I think it kind of looks like flowers and I am very okay with that ;-)

Chaos & Crocodiles Fireside Nights

Hey guys!

If you follow me on Twitter at all, you might have noticed that I've become obsessed with circle glitter. Not like "oh, I really like circle glitter". No. More like "I NEED ALL THE CIRCLE GLITTER!!!!!" So when I saw this on The PolishAholic's page a few weeks back... well, obviously I had to buy it.

Chaos & Crocodiles is a new to me brand on Etsy, but they had fantastic and fast shipping! I think I ordered this on a Saturday and received it the following Monday! Wow!

Anyway, Fireside Nights is a clear based glitter with red and yellow CIRCLE GLITTER, and red and yellow various other glitters. I layered 1.5 (maybe just 1) coats over a black creme.

Let's start with the macro.

NOMNOMNOM!!

Guys... this is like a sickness. I NEED ALL THE CIRCLE GLITTER!

What are your favorite glitter shapes and DO YOU KNOW OF MORE CIRCLE GLITTER!?

Talk to you soon!
