Hey guys!
Nothing To Disclose
I was fortunate enough to win this gorgeous Mei Mei's Signatures exclusive Ethereal Lacquer from my friend Saira's giveaway a few months back and it somehow got lost in Mount Polish. I pulled it out for a jazzy birthday party manicure and wow, it's lovely!
I used two coats of EL Black Rose and stared at the beauty. Like... just stared.
I mean... come on. So gorgeous.
Then, because I was going to a 30th birthday party in a party bus and all that jazz, I wanted MORE so I added a gradient coat of Messy Jessi Bailey, a polish created to help benefit Bailey Haney and raise awareness for Neuroblastoma.
THEN I dabbed a little bit of Wingdust Funky Town on the tips of my nails and figured that was probably enough bling for one manicure, heehee. I purchased Funky Town from Llarowe but I cannot find it on her site or on the Wingdust site.
Whatcha think? Clearly more is more is better for me, lol!!!
Talk to you soon!

Ginger & Liz Stress Management
Hey guys!
Nothing To Disclose
Ginger & Liz is a brand that I found at Ulta and knew nothing about before purchasing. It is a vegan brand founded by two friends and the polishes are toluene, formaldehyde, DBP, camphor and resin free.
The polish I purchased was on clearance for $6.97, from the original price of $12.00. And of course I had to pick the teal color, duh. What, are you new here? :-p
Stress Management is a gorgeous dark teal creme polish and this baby covered in one coat. Yep. You heard me. One coat.
Color me impressed! My Ulta doesn't have a lot of Ginger & Liz polishes but I would certainly look into this brand, the formula was great, this color is gorgeous, and this did not stain my nails! Plus, the polishes are vegan! Whoo!
Have you tried Ginger & Liz before??
Talk to you soon!

Liquid Sky Lacquer Pink Gradient
Hey guys!
Nothing To Disclose
I have a simple little gradient today! I grabbed two Liquid Sky Lacquer's and went to work. I used Love Is In The Air as my base (2 coats) and then A Nice Chianti for the gradient color. It's very simple but I really like these two colors together! Caroline does some amazing holos, too!
Whatcha think??

Today's prompt is Anti-Valentine's and I don't really even know what that means, aside from nails that aren't pink or have hearts on them so I did this little doo dah here:
I used China Glaze Dashboard Dreamer and License & Registration Pls as my base colors (index finger is L&R, Pls), let that dry and then blobbed Cons-Ulta My Manicurist and L&R, Pls on the index and middle fingers, and Dashboard Dreamer and Cons-Ulta My Manicurist on the ring and pinky fingers. Then I smooshed the colors together with a ziplock bag. I really liked how the shimmer in Dashboard Dreamer was apparent on the nails that had the darker base color. So pretty!!

Rimmel Round and Round In Circles
Hey guys!
Nothing To Disclose
Another new spring polish from Rimmel is Round and Round in Circles, a pale yellow creme polish. As with all yellows ever, it seems, this had a sort of streaky formula and required 3 careful coats.
This first picture is in direct light.
This picture is in indirect light and you can really see the streaks here. Such a shame, because this color is so fun and happy!
I found my Rimmel polishes at Walgreens and I believe they were about $1.79.
Have you tried the new Rimmel pastels for spring yet?

Sally Hansen Goldi-Flecks and CSM Over The Rainblue
Hey guys!
Press Sample
Sally Hansen Big Glitter Top Coat in Goldi-Flecks is a white and gold glitter topper in a clear base. The shapes and sizes of the glitter are assorted, so this is the perfect glitter topper for a lot of different looks. I used one coat over CND Mint Convertible and I loved the gold and white with the mint!
Macro!
Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Over The Rain-blue is a blue and silver bar glitter topper. Bar glitter isn't my most favorite glitter, just because it usually ends up peeling up and then I pick at it and it's a mess. Or the pieces hang off of the edge of the nail and I cannot handle that situation. These bar glitters aren't as densely packed so the blue glitter is what you primarily see and that's okay with me :-) I used one coat and then dabbed a little bit more to fill in some areas. My base color is OPI's My Boyfriend Scales Walls. This was sort of a perfect Detroit Lions manicure, too ;-)
You can purchase Sally Hansen polishes basically errywhere, so go get you some!

DailyLook LBD Dream Date Style Challenge!
Hey guys!
Nothing To Disclose
When I told about the Little Black Dress Challenge for the DailyLook website, I was initially thinking of a nail art look. While I love fashion, I am pretty basic with my attire so I was glad that the 'assignment' turned out to be a virtual style set, lol!
Every woman knows what a LBD is: the Little Black Dress. I think it's safe to say that pretty much every woman owns a little black dress of some sort. That is, everyone except for me! Yep. That's right. As basic as I am with my wardrobe, I love color so I never gravitate towards the basic black or white colors for clothing. Blue, green, and purple make up the vast majority of my wardrobe, which I'm sure you're not surprised about if you have been a reader for a while.
Since I am in a transition phase of my wardrobe/weight right now, I'm not running out to buy any new clothes so picking out a virtual wardrobe was much more appealing to me! I picked something that I would actually wear or buy; even though I would like to wear the super sparkly mini dresses... let's be real: I'm a mom now, lol.
So where would I wear this outfit? Well, like I said... I'm a mom, I have an 18 month old and I've been married for almost 10 years.... my husband and I don't have a lot of date nights! But let's say we did and let's say I needed to dress up for this date night, I would love to wear something like the following image.
I LOVE this midi dress, partially for the length and partially because it has pockets!! Dresses with pockets are my favorite thing ever and I don't know why it wasn't more common until recently!!
The shoes I selected were pretty simple; I originally had some super sparkly sequin heels but I thought I should tone it down a bit and I didn't really like how the shoes looked with the dress.
This statement necklace is divine, I want to own this right now. And I wanted to add some color with the bracelets and the mint bracelets are so pretty layered around the gunmetal leaf bracelet, I think! And then, duh. The clutch? Yeah, perfectly sparkly and lovely.
So making these Style Sets was so fun! I am going to make a bunch more and hopefully it will help me to not be such a schlub in my attire!! LOL!!
