A England Perceval and Essie Stroke of Brilliance = Olympics!

Hey guys! It's Monday. Gross. LOL!

Today, I'm totally stealing my girl Ryan at Nail'd In the South's mani combination for this post, lol. She said it was okay, don't worry!

So the Olympics are over and I've spent so so much of the last 2 weeks just glued to the tv, watching these amazing athletes compete to be the best in the world. After seeing so many beautiful Olympic themed manicures and thinking "I can't draw/stamp/do that!" I was beginning to think that my Olympic manicure would never be.

Alas! Ryan came up with this fantastic combination that is simple but stunning! And I decided to steal her idea.... better late than never! I honestly forgot this post was in my draft folder, otherwise I would have had it up a few days ago :-/ Uh-oh... someone's getting forgetful!

Anywhoo, I started with ONE COAT of A England's Perceval. Okay, I know I shouldn't be surprised that A England's polishes are so amazing but good grief... THEY ARE AMAZING! Perceval is a stunning ruby red; it looks like my nails are glowing. This is without a topcoat, ya'll!! Ack! I. Die.

After Perceval, I dabbed Essie's Stroke of Brilliance on the tops (bottoms?) of my nails. I received this Essie as a Klout Perk and I love it! It's more periwinkle then blue but blue enough to work for this manicure. Added a top coat and voila! Olympic themed nails!

I received a lot of compliments on this manicure.... everyone loved the red and blue combination!

What was your favorite sport in the Olympics?

Talk to you soon!
