Zoya Harlow

Hey guys!

Nothing To Disclose

Welcome to Zoya Week! I know I usually have a Makeup Monday but I decided to treat you to a whole week of Zoya polishes :-) Lucky you, right? Zoya is one of my favorite brands for formula consistency, as I rarely have an issue with formula with my Zoya's.

Zoya Harlow is from the Matte Velvets Collection and is described as a rose plum with metallic shimmer. I adore this color, it is so beautiful! This was 2 flawless coats.

I didn't topcoat this because it was so gorgeous on its own, I got distracted and forgot to topcoat it, lol.

You can purchase Zoya polishes from their website and at Ulta.

February Untrieds: China Glaze Spam!

Hey guys!

Today's Untrieds Post is a little bit of spam from one of my faaaavorite brands, China Glaze. Of course, you have to go see what Amanda and Sarah are posting!

Urban-Night is a plum creme polish. I love this color, I don't wear purple like very often but it's so so pretty. This was 2 perfectly wonderful coats, no topcoat.

Next,Jolly Holly, which is from a Christmas collection a few years back. I found this polish shopping with my friend Jamie and had to have this green. I mean... look at it!! It's stunning!

Finally, Turned Up Turquoise... DISCLAIMER! This polish is about 50% brighter green/turquoise in person but my camera was freaking out and this is what was translated to the pixels. This is a super fun color, especially for spring and summer! I used 3 thin coats.

Under my lightbox (a tiny bit more accurate but still not as bright!)

Well,  that's all folks!

Lush Lacquer Perky Plum

Hey guys! Happy Saturday? What are you up to? I'm going to be putting up my Christmas decorations and then I have to run a bunch of errands. And I should probably at least halfway clean my house :-)

Today I've got some Lush Lacquer to show you! I am really loving LL a lot; my indie drawer is kind of being taken over by Lush Lacquer! LOL

First, I'm going to show you my base color, butter LONDON Marrow. I used two easy coats of the gorgeous blue based purple. So so pretty!

Now to add the Lush Lacquer! Perky Plum is a glitter polish, packed with blue, pink, and gold hex glitter and gold bar glitter. This was almost 2 coats of Perky Plum. This wasn't as thick as some of the other LL's I've used; I only dabbed the second coat on so I could better control the opacity.

I probably should have used this over a lighter color but something in my brain always says "Pick a color that's the same as one of the glitters in the polish you are using!"

Have you tried any Lush Lacquer before? What were your favorites?

Sally Hansen CSM Plum Luck

Hey guys!

I'm not sure why Sally Hansen seems to be discontinuing their Complete Salon Manicure line, but Walgreen's has completely clearanced out the entire collection. So obviously, I had to grab this lovely when I saw it on super clearance!

Plum Luck is a... wait for it... plum creme! This was 2 easy coats. I really like the CSM big brush; I know it gets mixed reviews but I love the shape and size of the brush.
