Brand Blast: Glam Polish Week!

First, I want to apologize for my little nub index finger. The homey betrayed the family and she has no excuse.

It's time for another Brand Blast! This time, it's all about Glam Polish. Quickly becoming one of my favorite brands, they deliver stellar formulas and gorgeous colors!

Pop! is coral pink with a strong scattered holo. This was two perfect coats (which is very standard for Glam Polish. I don't think I own one GP that has needed more than 2 coats and the formula's are basically perfection!). Shown with topcoat.

Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo is a matte pastel glitter ix of pink, teal, blue, and purple with assorted shapes and sizes. This was one coat over Pop!, with topcoat.

Respect is medium to dark purple with another strong scattered holo. Again, two perfect coats plus topcoat.

Black Dahlia Lacquer Week: Grape Hyacinth

And so we come to the end of this edition of Brand Blast featuring Black Dahlia Lacquer. Of course I had to end with a fabulous glitter polish :)

Grape Hyacinth is "full coverage glitter in a violet jelly packed with blue, aqua and green holo glitter, with accents of purple, iridescent blue-purple and silver glitter, and lavender shimmer". This was 3 coats, but was very close to being opaque in two coats and I just needed to cover a few tiny "bald" spots". Plus topcoat. 

Well, I hope that you enjoyed Black Dahlia Lacquer week. I really enjoy this brand! I will say, my only complaint is the bottle is too tall to fit in my helmer drawer but that's obviously not a real issue, lol.

Black Dahlia Lacquer Week: Wild Cherry Blossoms

Onward to the finish line! Today for Black Dahlia Lacquer week, we are looking at one of the brighter shades that I own from the brand, Wild Cherry Blossoms, a cherry red holo. This was 2 easy coats, plus topcoat and please know that this was much more holo in person and in the sunlight!

Black Dahlia Week: Gold Rush and Magical Moss

Black Dahlia Week continues! Today we are looking at two beautiful polishes!

Gold Rush is gold linear holograph with gold micro glitter and shimmer. This was 2 coats, alllllmost one, plus topcoat.

Magical Moss is "silvered celery green linear holo with silver and aqua micro glitter and blue glass flecks". This was also two easy coats, plus topcoat.

Black Dahlia Lacquer Mint Sprog Frost

Hey guys!

Black Dahlia Week continues with Mint Sprog Frost, which is a "green tinted holographic top coat with teal to purple to magenta multichrome flakies and glass flecks that shift from turquoise to purple to red with accents of holographic pewter". However, I used 2 coats plus topcoat for this swatch and it was opaque enough to pass, in my book :)

Brand Blast: Black Dahlia Week!

I'm going to have another Brand Blast this week, featuring Black Dahlia Lacquer! BDL is an indie based in Texas and they have some beautiful polishes!

Let's start this week with Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, a light green crelly with green, gold, and blue flakies. This was 2 easy coats, plus topcoat.

Unfortunately, this polish is no longer available, as it was a limited edition Earth Day release. Whoops.

Love, Angeline Week: Day 5

We have come to the end of Love, Angeline week. Have you enjoyed these posts? I am always impressed with the beauty of Natosha's polishes, and these Let's Grab A Drink polishes are no exception.

We are going to conclude this Brand Blast with Manhattan, a gorgeous dark blue matte with aqua and purple shimmer. Again, this is ONE COAT! Simply fabulous.

Again, I cannot recommend these polishes enough. Perfect formula's, one coat coverage, and such beautiful glowing shimmer polishes, both matte and glossy.

Love, Angeline week continues with another from the Let's Grab A Drink collection!

Margarita is dark emerald green matte with aqua and green shimmer. This was another one coater, which is truly amazing.

I cannot recommend these polishes enough. I did not expect to be so wowed by these, but they truly are quite mesmerizing!

Love, Angeline week continues! Today we are going to take a look at Red Wine, a stunning dark red matte polish with flashes of red and gold shimmer. This was one coat!!!! ONE COAT!!

Sooo yeah.. this is completely amazing and gorgeous and looks soooo glowy with the topcoat! And you should all go buy this immediately!!

We are continuing Love, Angeline week on this Twinsie Tuesday with a Fall to Winter transitional color and another polish from the Let's Grab A Drink collection. Bourbon is a dark rusty orange and it basically drop dead gorgeous. This was one perfect coat. The first picture is without topcoat and the second picture is with topcoat. I don't even have the proper words, lol.

Brand Blast: Love, Angeline Week!

It's time for another Brand Blast, which is a week long feature of one of my favorites brands. This week, we are looking at Love, Angeline. Her Harmonious Gemstones are seriously gorgeous and this week, I have some polishes from her Let's Grab a Drink collection, a collection of matte shimmers. Guys. STUNNING. Each polish was more beautiful than the next. But I'm getting ahead of myself.

The first polish is Shandy, a golden yellow matte polish with gold shimmer.  I used two coats here but it was very very very close to being opaque in 1 coat.
