Sally Hansen Pearl Crush - Review

Hey guys!

Press Sample

Today I have 3 of the Sally Hansen Pearl Crush polishes to share with you. These polishes all have a sheer, iridescent finish and have large hex glitters to give a 3D effect.

She Sells is a pale pearl pink color. I used one coat over Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Quick Brick and decided to use some glitter placement on the ring finger. The hexes are quite large so it did not take long at all.

Lady Crab is a sheer pink. This was two coats over Sally Hansen Insta-Dri White.

Silver Scallop is a light gray. This was 2 coats over SH White.

The glitters were rather difficult to get out of the bottle, even after leaving the polishes upside down for about 30 minutes. These polishes are too sheer to be able to make opaque, so they will always need to be layered over an opaque polish. I suppose you could wear 2 coats and have a very visible nail line, if that's what you wanted to do. Lastly, the glitters are very large and prone to curling a bit.

These were not my favorite polishes, lol. I get the idea of a sheer polish with glitter and the iridescent glitters are pretty. I think if they were smaller and the base was a tiny bit more opaque, I would have liked these better.

Have you tried the Pearl Crush polishes? What were your thoughts?

Talk to you soon!
