Review: Northern Star Polish

Hey guys!

Kristen from Northern Star polish was kind enough to send me a few bottles of her polish to review! Let's get to it!

Northern Star Polish is 3 Free, and Kristen uses stainless steel agitator balls and solvent resistant glitters. Her polishes come in two sizes: 0.3 oz for $6 and 0.5 oz for $9. Now let's get to the polish!

First is Poppy Refreshed. This is a sheer pink base with yellow gold glitter and pale pink and darker pink flower glitter. This is 3 coats. The polish was a little bit thick, so I think I would layer it over a similar pink next time but I really liked this. I an not huge on shaped glitter, but I love flowers of any sort :-)

The second polish is called Kismet's Kiss, a clear based polish with diamond and heart glitters and pink and (maybe purple) micro glitters. I layered one coat over black. The hearts were readily available in this baby. Yay!

She also included some cuticle oil, which smells so freaking fantastic, I could drink it (don't worry, I won't!) But seriously... it smells gooooood! The oil contains olive oil, glycerin, almond oil, and grapeseed oil. It works pretty well, from as far as I can tell. I've been using it for the last few days and I really like it. And like I said... my fingers smell amazeballs after I use it! LOL

You can purchase Northern Star Polish here on her Etsy shop.
Talk to you soon!
