Hey guys!
Day 5 of Orange! The polishes I have today are probably technically oranges but... they are coral leaning reddish colors so I'm sticking them with oranges, lol.
Sonia Kashuk Hot Pursuit is a bright coral/almost red orange. I've not used a lot of SK polishes, but the few that I have used were easy to work with and who can resist bright spring/summer colors? Not I!
This is 2 coats, no top coat.
Now, a comparison! I recently acquired the delicious Cult Nails Captivated and was like "ohhhhhh my gosh so pretty!" As I was completing my wheel swatching project a few weeks back, I pulled this Icing polish out of my Helmer and realized it was very close to the Cult Nails polish. I decided to see how close.
Index and Ring: Icing
Middle and Pinky: Cult Nails
Clearly they are just about identical. However, I would always spend a few more dollars and get the Cult Nails polish. Why?
This is why! I have several bottles from Icing that do this and no amount of screwing the cap back on and trying again will make it work. For the record, it is a pain in the butt to apply polish with that little nub of a handle....
So Cult Nails wins. For their bottle, for their customer service, and because Maria is a gem! :-)
Talk to you soon!

Orange Week Day 4: Illamasqua and Milani
Hey guys!
Soo much orange! LOL!
Today, Illamasqua Gamma. HOLY MOLY this is a bright orange creme!
I used two perfect coats of Gamma.
Then, in the interest of toning down the traffic cone orange, I added a layer of Sephora by OPI Wild About Shimmer (which is almost an exact dupe for China Glaze White Cap...comparison to follow someday, lol. Had I known that, I probably wouldn't have bought the SOPI... I hate to have dupes, lol!)
Next up, Milani Metallic Mango. This is definitely still bright but it's not quite as obnoxious as the Illamasqua. Again, two coats. No Top coat.
What do you guys think?

Orange Week: Day 3: Sephora and Boots
Hey guys!
Day 3 of Orange Week!
First, Sephora Drama Velvet Pearl. This is my first Sephora brand polish, aside from Sephora by OPI.
Drama Velvet Pearl is an orange creme with golden shimmer. It's quite lovely. Kind of a bright orange but perfect for the summer.
Two coats, no top coat.
Next, Boots Natural Collection Antique Coral. This is another swap polish from across the pond :-) Perfectly lovely soft coral color.
Two easy coats, no top coat.
What do you guys think of all of this ORANGE??

Orange Week Day 2: Zoya
Hey guys!
Welcome to Day 2 of Orange Week! Did everyone have a nice weekend? I went to a town fair and ate corn dogs, chili cheese fries, philly steaks, and elephants ears. Oh and cotton candy! Needless to say, I ate a much more sensible dinner, lol. It only happens every once in a while so I can't feel too badly about my poor eating yesterday. Anyway...
I have two lovely Zoya's for you today.
First, Zoya Arizona from the Beach Collection. Arizona is a creamy softened orange. It covered perfectly in 2 joyous coats.
Next I have Myrta, from the Surf Collection. Zoya describes Myrta as a "warm medium orange coral with red undertone, gold and silver metallic shimmer, and a foil-like finish. The coral color of Myrta is soft, but the foil finish gives it added warmth and glow." Yes!
Two coats, no top coat.
Myrta has been on my toes for weeks; I just keep reapplying instead of changing the color. I love it!
What do you think of these lovely ladies?

Orange Week: MeMeMe and NYC
Hey guys!
Welcome to Orange Week! I have several awesome orange polishes to show you this week. I didn't even know I liked orange nail polish until I was swatching my stash on nail wheels a few weeks back. Lo and behold, I have a lot more orange than I thought!
Today I have two orange polishes that aren't straight up orange.
First, is MeMeMe, a polish I received from an international swap. This is not a brand I'm familiar with, but the color is just gorgeous!
Rich Russet, 2 coats, no top coat.
Look at that gorgeous golden shimmer! Mmmh! Love it!
Next up, is NYC Fifth Avenue. Alright, technically this is probably more bronze but I'm still counting it as orange. Because I can. Because this is my blog, muahahah!
Two coats, no top coat.
Yay orange!

Nicole by OPI One Big Happy Fame-ily
Hey guys!
Happy Saturday to you! Do you have fun plans? I think we are going to the summer fair that is going on this weekend in a nearby town. I do love carnival food...mmm.... corndogs, BBQ, and fried things!
Anyway, today I have a lovely purple from the CVS Exclusvie Kardashian Kollection. As much as I LOATHE the NOPI bottles, I do like a lot of the Kardashian colors... sigh.
One Big Happy Fame-ily is a lovely lavender polish with silver glassflecks. I think that if any polish has glassflecks, I'm going to love it.
This is two coats, no top coat.
What do you think? I'm noticing now that I maybe should have used 3 coats but for a sheerer look, two coats is fine with me.
Have a great weekend!
