Fashion Friday!

Hey guys!

Today's Fashion Friday is a little bit different. It's not entirely about fashion that I wore... it's actually about mah hair!

If you know me at all, you probably know that I am obsessed with gingers. Like, literally obsessed. I love red hair, I just think it's so beautiful and soft and shiny and smooth and beautiful and in my mind, it smells like strawberries. Yeah, I'm weird.

Anyway, I've been telling the girl who does my hair for years "I want red hair" but my skin tone is just not entirely right for it. Yesterday, I decided that I was going to 'make' her give me red hair! LOL

Initially, I wanted an ombre color but decided against it and went with this:

The last picture doesn't really show the color that well. And I'm not showing you a before picture because it's awful, lol! My natural hair color is just plain brown :-/

Anyway, I love it. And HOW do hairdressers make your hair feel so clean? Ugh, if I could have that feeling everyday, I would totally have that as my superpower!

The red does make me feel a little sassier... not that I have problems feeling sassy, haha!

Fashion Friday!

Hey guys!

Well today's Fashion Friday isn't terribly exciting, but it's all about the baby steps, right?

Usually, what I wear to work at super comfy v-neck pocket tees.... They are like the most comfortable t-shirt ever. I have about 20 colors... for reals.

These are the shirts I usually wear... sooo soft! I wanted to roll around in them while taking this picture.

See, like a bajillion colors! And several of these shirts are in the wash, lol.

I decided that I wanted to wear one of my fun new tops I picked up a few weeks back at JCPenney. This is a Worthington top, super comfy but much cuter than my original 'uniform'.

I love yellow. It's such a happy color! This shirt was very comfortable to wear. I think my fear with not wearing nicer clothes to work is that I will be uncomfortable and pull and adjust and whatnot. That wasn't the case with this shirt. I feel like going back and getting one in every color... but then I would be wear I am now with those wonderful pocket tee's! :-p

New Feature: Fashion Friday!

Hey guys! Sorry for the super late post today. There was adventure at work and then I had to come home and nap before we went to see "The Avengers" today (which, by the way, was A.W.E.S.O.M.E!!) Anyway, these are the reasons for my tardy post! Forgive me :-)

I'm excited to introduce a new feature to my blog! 

I figured that since this was originally going to be a fashion blog and it's part of the name and all, I should feature some fashion, right?

Here's the deal: I love jeans and t-shirts. Love love love them. And luckily at my job, I can wear jeans and t-shirts everyday.

On the flip side of this, I LOVE dresses and florals and sequins and pretty, girly things. But I NEVER wear these things. I own them, they hang in my closet. And never get worn. So I'm using this blog as a way to break out of my comfort zone and wear some of these pretty things I have to work, or even just out and about. It might be on Fridays, it might be earlier in the week but I will feature the items every Friday. Fun, right? I think it's fun :-)

For the inaugural Fashion Friday post, I will show you the shoes that I wore to work today. Yeah, that's right. We're starting with shoes.

Usually, I wear ugly tennis shoes/walking shoes, etc. But I wore these fabulous babies today:

MMMMM, black sparkly Converse All Stars. So sparkly. So fun. I'm not going to lie: they are not very comfortable to wear, but I think that's because I've maybe worn them only once before. So I must break these bad boys in!
