Review: Northern Star Polish

Hey guys!

I received some goodies from Kristen at Northern Star Polish to share with you!

Kristin is releasing her winter collection TODAY so whoohoo! Oh! Before I forget, my nails are super short right now, sorry :-/

There's quite a few pictures, so let's get to it!

First, I love her packaging. I don't always keep the boxes that polish comes in (although I have been lately) but I love the ingredients clearly listed on the box.

First up, Aurora, "inspired by the Queen of the Snows, a deep blue jelly polish with color shifting and holographic sparkles reminiscent of the northern lights."

This was 3 thin coats. This had a good formula, easy to apply and was a nice consistency.
 Natural Light:
 Direct Sun:

Next is Glacial Illusions, "a milky white crelly base with teal, purple, and silver glitters."

This was 3 coats. I first thought this was going to need undies but it built up nicely after the second coat. And I totally dinged my index finger, bah!

Finally, she included a cuticle oil. This is Super Elf, "a special seasonal scent of candy canes & bubbly sugar sweetness because we can all use an injection of magical elf motivation during the holidays."

I've used Kristin's cuticle oil before (Kiss Kiss) and it smells good enough to drink! However, I LOVE that this comes in a tube with this kind of applicator. I've used this several times and it's moisturizing but not greasy. And it smells like candy :-)

So there ya go. Check out Kristin's Etsy shop here, follow her on Facebook and go check out her new winter collection!

Talk to you soon!
